Power Explanation:
Bobby is capable of shifting his body into a form composed of a brassy, metallic substance.

-This form has inherent physical properties, most notably extreme ductility- Bobby can stretch out parts of his body several feet, or compress and spread out his form to a plate approximately 6 inches thick. He has become very adept at reshaping his body in recent years, working hard to equal the abilities of other, more malleable shapeshifters.
-Bobby's body is also extremely tough and durable. While not quite bulletproof, bullets do not penetrate- they just impact within his body. It is very difficult to seriously injure him in his brass form.
-Bobby's brass form is also resistant to electricity and electric based attacks- if he is properly grounded, the charge simply passes through with no ill effects. If he is not grounded, or if he concentrates intently, he can retain a charge in his body which can be redirected outward quite forcefully. This ability has increased, both in the amount of energy he can expel, and his control over it.
-Bobby has mastered the ability of remaining in human form, and prefers to remain such, to interact with regular humans on a more professional basis.

Weaknesses:
-Bullet impacts still hurt like hell. Any deformity to his body from outside sources cause moderate pain to Bobby.
-In his brass form, Bobby is colour blind (B&W), and has trouble differentiating motionless objects.
-If Bobby is forced to his human form while deformed (from, say, a psychic suggestion) he faces severe injury or death.
-If he loses too much concentration, or is knocked unconcious, he will shift back to his brass form.

History:
Bobby Bowen, eldest of three siblings, grew up on the East coast of Canada.
Following the apparent murder of Bobby's mother at the hands of the Mindshadow, his family life was brutally shattered. His father, a mutant, Doctor, and former member of Department H's Delta Flight, brought Bobby and his brother and sister to the upstate town of Northbrook, NY to start up the department of mutant studies at the Northbrook campus of Empire State University.
Bobby's mutant abilities manefested at puberty. While the first few months were horrificly difficult (constant pain and involuntary deforming), he was able master the basics of his abilities thanks to his father, and the staff at the Mutant Studies Department at ESU-NB. After graduating from XI, Bobby moved to Texas to attend college, and to work for Lone Star Motors, an automobile manufacturer who was impressed with his mechanical aptitude, mutant abilities, and driving skill.

Bobby's brass form looks like you think- a human being composed of polished brass alloy. His eyes are blue and pupilless.
