Harold Marks

Name:Harold Marks
Age:19

Powers:Telepathy/Telekinesis. While attending at the Westchester Campus, focused telekinetic training into being flight capable. Has developed a bad habit of telepathic eavesdropping. His telepathic range on average use is around 8 city blocks. With great exertion he can extend to about 5 miles, but he can't maintain it, and is likely to pass out attempting him. His upper limit on telekinetic movement is around the weight of a small car, but moving that much, he's limited to moving one object. When manipulating smaller objects, he can move 4 or 5 objects with fine control. He's attempted a "TK Vortex" move he saw in an old X-Men mission file, but the last time he tried, he managed to clock himself with a mailbox. So, he's a little reluctant to try it again.

Personality:Harold is more than a little bit of a boy scout. He's also more than a little bit of a hot head. Harold spent a lot of time in the Danger Room at Weschester, and as a result thinks he's the shit. He will find out otherwise come his first superhero fight. Very friendly, very open guy otherwise.

Description:He's not going to be a model anytime soon, but he's not a bad looking guy either. Pretty average, really. Short brown hair, green eyes, favors t-shirts, jeans, and hiking boots for every day clothes. Stands 5'11", 190lbs.

History:Harold originally hails from Atlanta, Georgia. Mom worked as a insurance claims adjuster and dad was an airline pilot. When Harold's powers first manifested, they didn't kick him out or anything, but Harold could hear their slight fear of him. When the invitation to the Xavier Institute came they were overjoyed. Harold attended the school for four years, TRYING to stay out of trouble (He still holds a record for number of times sent to the headmaster for eavesdropping on teacher's heads though.) Harold spent a lot of time in the Danger Room, at first just for the recreational uses. But, as there were more "incidents" at the school he began running more and more training scenarios. He had decided he wanted to be a superhero, maybe make the A-List and join the Avengers one day. Once graduation was within sight he applied for the London Campus to continue his education. He'd never been out of the country and London sounded like a good place to get out into the world some. He hasn't quite decided on a major (He knows he's still got to have a real life, outside of a costume.), but is leaning towards teaching or law.

Looks good. Just need a bit more info. What're the current limits of his telepathy, in terms of range and fancy tricks like finding people?

Same for the TK, how much can he move, how many different objects at a time, etc.

One of the things Silver Age Sentinels has is that it is much harder to move the upper limit of your TK with enough speed to damage someone. The notion that you can't quite throw what you can lift. Would you say this is applicable here?

More or less. He could throw that car that's at his upper limit, but it's going to take more effort than it probably should. I want to be able to let him move past that through training and experience though.

So he can throw a max of say, 1 ton? Or thereabouts. And lift 1.5 tons at his absolute limit, but he'd go slowly with it?

That sound good?

Sounds like a plan. (Sorry about this, I'm terrible at nailing down the boundries for this kind of thing.)
