Nailah is standing at the 'outskirts' of the groups of people in a complicated looking dress composed of broad silk-bands. Holding a glass of chapagne she's letting her eyes wander over the assembled people.

The people at the gate greeted Daniel enthusiastically, pointing him in the direction of the reception area.

Meanwhile, a man in his late twenties had apparently set up shot at the open bar, drinking something terribly alcoholic. He had short blonde hair and vivid blue eyes and was wearing an indecently expensive suit, he looked confident and very friendly, greeting anyone nearby warmly. Although how many drinks he'd had might have had something to do with that.

Samantha meanwhile had quite the arsenal of fairly deadly little black dresses, and had chosen a fine representative of the breed for her evening's outfit. Spying Nailah, she worked her way through the crowd to the sphinx.

Spotting Sam emerging from the thicker parts of the crowd she shows a (very contained) smirk at the sample from her wardrobe. Giving her a slight wave she heads over to her, somehow managing managing to avoid bumping into anyone with her wings despite seemingly not going out of her way to keep a distance when walking past them. "Something told me you would be here. And no, that was just a normal assumption." she smiles.
