Downtine 2, Wk 2: I Have no Mouth, and I Must Eat

Will, frowning at the most recent text message, walked into the nearest Baskin-Robbins.

He had shifted, adding a large scar across his throat, which was drawing the attention of passers by. He also had shifted both of his hands into 'plaster casts'--which, with no real scrutiny, would pass for the real thing.

[Sara Stanton]

The clerk can't help but stare a little at Will's get up, blinking before he goes into customer-attending mode.
"Welcome. How can I help you?"

[Will Stanton]

Will smiled, as warmly as he could.

"rasssarpppaassasp," he choked out, rasping , pointing at his scar, and then mimed rubbing his tummy and putting something in his mouth.

[Sara Stanton]

"Uh, okay, yeah, so you want ice-cream I'm guessing. Anything in particular?" I see. Great. This is going to be one of those[/i] shifts.[/i] He doesn't quite roll his eyes, but he does shoot a quick glance at the clock.

[Will Stanton]

Will paused, and then stretched his arms out wide, trying to indicate something LARGE.
And, we're close enough to mutant town that, just maybe...

Half his nose turned a bright crimson, the other half pure milky white, as he gestured at his nose.

Oh joy, one of the freaks. "Listen buddy, I'm not here to play sharades, I'm here to sell 'ice-cream'.
He pronounces the last words a bit like you would towards a child, just a bit too loud and slow to not be insulting.

[Will Stanton]

Will frowned, a bit peeved. He raised both his hands. From the top of his left hand, a bud opened, turned red, and stuck out--a fairly perfect strawberry. On the other hand, a small white ball appeared. He tapped the two together three times.

[Sara Stanton]

"Right. Big strawberry ice." This time the clerk did roll his eyes as he grabs one of the big cups and reaches over the selection to scoop some strawberry ice-cream into it.

[Will Stanton]

Will shook his head, no.

He kept the strawberry, but let the white ball rise and split into a 'V for victory' type pose.

[Sara Stanton]

The clerk rubs the bridge of his nose. "I'm just about done with this. This better be strawberry vanilla or you can go annoy someone else for your ice-cream, got it?"

[Will Stanton]

Will nodded, happily, and even did a little hop-jump.

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah. Whoopie, ice-cream!" The clerk comments with a sarcastic tone as he prepares the cup for Will before ringing it up. "Is that all?" God, I hope that is all.

[Will Stanton]

Will nodded, smiling, and paid for the ice cream. On the way out, he couldn't resist calling back a "thank you!" just to show he was fucking with the guy.

A sly smile crossed his face as he ducked into an empty bathroom, set the timer on his phone, and quickly ran to shift.

Sara would soon receive a text with a tree, indoors, with a pint of strawberry-vanilla ice cream nestled in it's knothole.

"Oh screw you, you wanker!" the clerk mutters, although it's propably still loud enough to be noticable.

it's not a pair of lovers but it's two things i love so i'll let it count *g*

The following two messages are pictures. The first shows Sara with her shirt slipped off her shoulder and hanging around her elbows, blowing a kiss at the camera. The second one is her with her knees bend a little, her hands resting on them as she leans forward a little, winking. The zipper on the side of her skirt is open almost all the way, just enough to show that she's not actually wearing tights, revealing the top of stockings.

Following that is another text message.

almost there now, but i still need some new bras to accomodate recent changes
it should be no problem for you to pick out ones that'd fit me right?
once you've done that you can come back to our room

Will blinked several times at the last text message, and then gave a little sigh.

A few minutes later, Sara Evans left the bathroom, walking her way down the street...blushing, stepping into a nice clothing shop she'd seen once before...
