[Trinity Cleaver]

Tink was Tink'd up and slumped on a park bench, a grey sweater and jeans in stark contrast to her usual wear, everything about her seemed lifeless and flat. People living in the apartments skirting the park would have seen the girl seemingly come and go during the day, returning too the same position when she returned - the truth was simply that despite Tinking up and down she simply hadn't moved.

Numb.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle slowly walked through the park alone but confident. She had a book in her hand about Geology as usual and her outfit was what she considered fashionable. The park wasn't really full and she saw this tiny woman that she had seen around campus. This was a chance for a clean slate on friendship or another enemy. Either way it would be fun.

Belle sadly didn't really notice that the young woman might not have wanted company and didn't notice that she was looking rather depressed. She took a seat next to the woman. "Buenos dias, chica. Que paso?"

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Yeah, nachos are awesome." Tink replied flatly, nodding, her eyes staying trained ahead.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle laughed at the response, "Sorry. Hey I've seen you around campus. I'm Itzcoatl Abelinda, Belle or Izzy for short." Looking off into the distance where the young woman was looking she felt that something wasn't right. "So, is your mutant power making you talk like a drone or I'm I picking up a bad vibe?"

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Ever had that guy that was your 'first' and just needed to stay there in the past?"

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

She didn't remember her 'first' sexual experience. Being trapped in stone did these kind of things. "Sort of. Did your first just dump you? Men." The last word had a vile distasteful sound to it.

"What happened? Sometimes there's only things you can tell strangers," then use it against them if need be. She placed a warm hand to lightly rub the young woman's back.

"If you're turning tricks, honey, I'm not interested.." Tink said dispassionately as Izzy touched her back.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

She gave a light hearted laugh, "No, It's my day off."

Belle could tell that touching was unwanted and returned her hand to her lap, "Sorry, I didn't mean to offend you."

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Look potentially I just deliberately cut loose the best thing that has happened to me in a long time." Tink explained as a way of apologising.

"My ex, the one that was there when I first changed showed up, he wants me back and that, after the way we left it.... "

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle remained silent and listened to the woman. She didn't know what was truly going on but was trying to think about others and shopping. Mostly shopping.

"Was he supportive of your change or...?"

[Trinity Cleaver]

Tink laughed.

"He never noticed me until I did change. He wouldn't look at a plain girl like I was."

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

"So you metamorphosed into who you are now and this led him into desiring you now? I don't know the facts but if that is the case he's not worth it."

[Trinity Cleaver]

"I was in high school when I morphed. I was blonde haired, blue eyed, perfect and destined for a life in the church. Popular as any pretty girl is but without any real friends.

Wingnut never.. I don't pretend to know what he was thinking of course, he was this older guy who scared me in all these exciting ways but he didn't seem to know I was alive. Then I grew wings, then I shrunk and looked like this.. " Tink pushed back her hoodie and indicated her pink and black hair, a couple of tattoo's a little visible.

"I seemed to get this huge personality, I was popular in this approachable, fun way and one day I looked at him and he was looking back. Finally."

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

At first Belle thought about a horrible dye job that went on but then marked it up to mutation.

"So you shrunk and got wild hair and then he noticed you? Sounds bizarre to me. Hopefully this was a emtional conection first versus physical," she raised an eye brow.

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Excuse me?" Tink raised an eyebrow. A very dangerous quiet tone to her voice.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle noticed the possibility of a fight and usually would have felt good about it but this time it was different. "I was just trying to understand, forgive me," Belle lowered her head apologetically. "Please go on."

[Trinity Cleaver]

Tink sighed and closed her eyes.

"I'm sorry.. that wasn't cool of me, though I would seriously love to kick someone's ass right now." Tink gave Izzy a small smile.

"Wingnut and I.. we had a rocky relationship, full of passion and excitment, I eventually left and now he's found me. Just when everything was so perfect with Cal."

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle pulled back her hair to tuck it behind her ear, "It would be easy if I said go with your heart. If that was true then we wouldn't be here. The rough rocky road maybe filled with adventure but it takes its tole on us. We become bitter and worn out and that just isn't beautiful." She paused and took a breath, "I kinda know a little about rocky and adventurous."

[Trinity Cleaver]

Tink glanced across at Izzy.

"You do?"

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

"I had this boyfriend back in the late 90s and he was older then me by like six or seven years. I was sixteen and I wanted attention from my parents. Had some run in with the laws, did some films, snorted some stuff. Long story short I'm a wreck now because of the mental and physical abuse I endured," Belle was being blunt but hoped that her tale would help this girl.

She paused and smiled, "This may not be the case with you so now I feel stupid mentioning it."

[Trinity Cleaver]

"No, no, Its kinda the same. I ran with Wingnut and his crew for a while, did stupid stuff.. he never hit me though, nothing like that.. " Tink nodded.

"When I managed to leave I thought that was it, that I had healed and was over him. Then he showed up telling me what I wanted to hear for so long but now.. "

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle leaned in a bit. Not for a kiss but to look at the girl in the eyes, "Not even a time altering mutant can take back what he's done." Unless of course he messes with your mind then it is all void. "Too little too late."

"But this isn't my heart."

[Trinity Cleaver]

Tink sat in silence for long moments, lost in thought, her eyes vacant as she considered it.

"I love them both but Cal is the one I am in love with." she said quietly.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle waited patiently then spoke. She was unsure if she came off heartless, "So? I'm still in love with my demons but I know not to be with them. You don't want to be with the bad boys forever. Go tell the other guy to back the fuck off and leave you alone." She turned her head to look up at the sky.

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Demons?" Tink asked curiously.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

She looked at the woman, "That guy and my vices."

[Trinity Cleaver]

"You wanna share?"

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

"Girl, I maybe an attention whore but this isn't my story here. I think it's your time to share and let out the feelings," Belle whipped her hair back because it kept falling over her eyes.

Her voice was a bit more excited about the new subject, "And if you don't feel like sharing we could always just go shopping!"

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Let's go shopping." Tink smiled, really longing for distraction.

[Itzcoatl Abelinda]

Belle jumped up and thought thank god, being kind is serious work.

"I know the best shops all around town!" She stood up and fixed her skirt and waited for the young woman to follow, "By the way what's your name again?"

[Trinity Cleaver]

"Tink." Tink smiled, looking forward to the distraction.
