"Like I'm not going to help with my future grandson. Or granddaughter. I won't hear of it."

"Mom, Dad, you don't have to..."

"This isn't even up for discussion, Will. I'm not going to let you fail here--that's what we're for; we're your safety net and all that."

"We're here for whatever you guys need..."

[Sara Stanton]

"I have to admit, that's a bit of a relief. I just... don't want to accept money we don't need. I've been trying to make a list of expenses and... well... I don't really have much of a clue how much we can expect having to spend for the baby itself..."

[Will Stanton]

"Take whatever you think you're going to need, and then double it. And then double it again. That should get you close," Rita laughed. "They are a handful and a half, and you never know when something's going to come up--and that's not even including all the stuff you need at the beginning; all the various accessories, and baby-proofing the apartment..."

"Will, I know we've been saving the Oswego place for when you come back, but it's no place to raise a family. We'll rent it out and give you a piece of that. It won't cover everything...you'll just have to make other arrangements when you graduate. Or otherwise come home."

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah... I guess the initial costs are going to be quite a bump..." she lets out a little sigh. "Well, I'm already glad for help with just figuring out all the things we're going to need. I... I'm not quite sure what to say, really. You have been incredibly understanding of all this, Mr and Mrs Stanton..."

[Will Stanton]

"Sara, we're afraid for you both. We worry immensely. But that's no good now--you two have decided what you want. It's your lives--all we can do is give you all the support we can. That's what family does, Sara."

"I'll tell you, it might have been a different story if we came here and you had no plan, no work, and all that--but I trust Will to make things right. And he trusts you."

[Sara Stanton]

"Still... I mean... I just met you and... well... Thanks." she smiles at Will's parents.

[Will Stanton]

"Well, don't give us too much thanks yet. It's still day one--we're gonna stick around for a few more days, get to know everything, you know? If you have any skeletons, now is the time to hide them," Will's dad laughed.

"Oh, Maxwell..."

[Sara Stanton]

"My only one was being on the X-Teams, I guess and, well... it's not much of a secret anymore, really." she chuckles a little nervously.

[Will Stanton]

"You're on the X-teams, too? Oh, Sara, you have to stop if you're going to have a baby," Rita said, with concern.

[Sara Stanton]

"Of course, it'd just be stupid not to. They already said I'd be transferred to administrative duties so I could stay in the program."

[Will Stanton]

"Phew. For a second there...well, never mind what I thought.

If that's the biggest shock I get this week, everything will be perfect," she smiled back.

[Sara Stanton]

"I sure hope I don't come off as that irresponsible for that to even be something to worry about. I'm not going to put myself out there as long as I'm pregnant..."

[Will Stanton]

"Well, you said it yourself. We've only known you for, what, 30 minutes now? Give us some time to get a grip on you. I feel like I should have a survey prepared or something..."

[Sara Stanton]

Sara nods. "Sorry, I didn't mean to come off as insulted or anything."

[Will Stanton]

"It's alright--we're all a little edgy. Let's just get back to your campus so you can show us around some," he smiled.

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah. Let me call my parents real quick to let them know we'll be there soon." she pulls out her handy.

"Well...this should be interesting..."
