"Dom, I won't deny that this... brings back some unpleasant memories and feelings for me."

"I'm sorry Sam. There's just no other Telepath that I trust."

"I'll do it. I don't have to like it, but I can't abandon you to this either."

Lumis smiles. "Thank you Sam. I fucked up. And I am sorry. It means a lot to me that you're willing to help. You have license for as many 'I told you so's' as you want."

"They're not as satisfying as they might seem. I don't like being right about this sort of thing."

[Domanic Taylor]

"So how do we start? You hit me on the nose with a rolled up newspaper?"

"No Dom, this is something we have to do rather carefully. Simple aversion is only a bandage. We need to understand his roots, his triggers, and we have to be smarter than him, out-maneuver him."

Lumis nods. "Yeah, that's what I was afraid of. Do you want to talk to him? I mean... nobody ever wants to talk to him, but would it be helpful?"

"He makes my skin crawl, but yes I do think we'll be doing quite a bit of that."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Alright, well, I'll do whatever you think will help."

[Samantha McManus]

"I'm going to need time to prepare."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Sure, however much time you need. Let me know."

She gave Dom a faint, weary smile.

"We'll work through this, aye?"

[Domanic Taylor]

"Can I take you out somewhere? Not as a date, even, though I'd like to revive that between us someday too. I mean, just take you somewhere really nice, as friends, give you a fun evening."

"I think that can be arranged, certainly."

[Domanic Taylor]

"Name the place. We can go fancy, or we can sail out into the harbor on my boat, and just chat and catch up." Lumis smiles. "I really AM sorry to dump this on you, and I want to make it up to you. Plus it always feels good to spend time with you."

"I think keeping it in the city would be the most appropriate, aye?"

"Unless you want Barbara to think you're wooing me on your yacht." She smirked.

Lumis laughs. "Eh, Binary and I are at our liberty. She was on a date with a Liberal MP the other week, and last month Tony and I went on a double date. So she won't get jealous."
