Wolf-whistling

Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.

Wolf-whistling

Postby Alex Carpenter » Wed Dec 24, 2014 12:01 pm

Alex looked at his phone as he walked into the dorms from the rec center, fresh from his workout. Nope. Nothing. Shrugging, he shouldered open his door as he thumbed out a text to Brigid. He tossed the phone down on his bed and grabbed a towel and a change of clothes, leaving it on his bed while he headed into the shower.

Hey, where've you been? Are you taking ninja lessons after class?

Kind of tutoring, but not ninja lessons. What's up?

Alex walked back into the room in his shorts, noticing his phone blinking as he did. He looked at the phone and nodded. That explains it.

Just haven't been able to find you. Kinda felt weird.

Alex looked at the phone as he came back from his dresser.

Awesome, I just got done working out. What do you want to do?

Maybe watch a movie in the common room?

Sounds great. I'll be down in a few.

Alex puttered around his room, taking his time getting dressed, since he didn't want to (accurately) look like he was too eager.

Brigid makes her way to the common room fairly soon. Her hair's a bit unkempt, but clean. She's dressed rather how she has been since the wolftruck incident.

She lounges nonchalantly on the couch as she waits for Alex.

Alex walked in, then grinned when he saw her. "Hey, beautiful," he said, walking over to the couch, feeling much smoother than he really was.

"Hey," she says, sitting up and swiveling around to let him have a seat.

"See? Not a ninja."

"Nah, didn't have time, just got done showering. Figured we'd see if there was anything new that one of us hasn't watched to death streaming," he said, reaching for the remote. He didn't seem particularly concerned with the choice of movie or lack thereof.

He smirked. "Well, if you'd rather I come all sweaty from the gym, I could do that next time," he joked, slipping his arm around her too as he cued up the movie service (no product placement in this thread!).

He smirked. "Well, tomorrow you catch me after I work out, and don't act like it's my fault when you find me all sweaty," he said, misreading her motion and leaning to accomodate... well, whatever she was about to do. And since that movement let him get at her neck, all the better.

Brigid curls a lip for a moment, a faint snarl escaping her mouth before she manages to stifle it.

"...little early for hickeys," she says, regaining her composure.

"Who said I was going to leave evidence," he said, totally missing the near brush with death he had as he settles back on the couch, marginally behaving himself. "Does my hair pass the test, then?" he asked as he pulled up the new releases.

"Dumb and action-y it is," he said, picking one of the newer ones that definitely fit the bill and cueing it up. "So what've they had you stuck doing?" he asked, stretching out a little as they got settled in to watch.
