Danger Room - Hey there Little Red Riding Hood

[Brigid Plunder]

"Yeah, well I was waiting for the burgers," she flashes a toothy grin as she unwraps it, taking a large bite immediately.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Fucking....really? You're going to smoke in here where it's going to linger all night? ....Damn well better at least share....computer, lock observation deck, disable all audio and video monitoring. Staff Override Kaltiera Delta 5-0," Steph said walking in with Vertie in tow.

[Vertie Easley]

"Oh lord." She shook her head and snagged a milkshake before choosing a spot away from the smoke. "It's like some horrible B-horror movie set up."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"None of you have any idea of how to have fun." Jenn points out and takes another puff between shoving milkshake-nuggets into her mouth. "This is awesome. We should have some music."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Well, she shared with me," Brigid smirks between bites.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"I've had plenty of fun," Steph smirked. "And please tell me you got some food for me."

[Brigid Plunder]

"There's food here, but there won't be for long if you're too slow..."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy sneezes, shying away from the smoke. She's being pretty quiet. Mostly watching Jen.

[Jennifer Newgate]

Jennifer gives Murphy a brief side-eye but is too mellowed out to care too much that she's under some kind of double-secret probation or whatever. She finishes the joint, followed by polishing off her awful milkshake-nugget concoction and folds her hands behind her head, craning it to look up at the sky again. "Hey, where do you think the ceiling went?"

"It's like one of those infinite swimming pools. Even if you could fly, you'd never hit it."

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy nods, "Still feel it,:

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph smirked, snatching a burger and tearing into it. "Next best thing to being outside, and good while you're learning. No mosquito bites in here either."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"You don't talk much, do you?" she asks Murphy.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"You get used to it eventually, Jenn. She can say a lot without using many words.

[Hannah Murphy]

Murphy shrugs.

"People talk too much."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Of course, we found out that when everyone changes, the vocabulary kinda goes downhill anyway."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"It's a lot harder to talk with a muzzle."

[Vertie Easley]

Vertie watched quietly, carefully reaching out for everyone's wolves as their human halves bantered back and forth.

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa's wolf was disgruntled and unsettled. There was a sense of something primal about it, not something inherent to the wolf itself. It growled at Vertie.

Vertie focused on Theresa, letting her emotions 'speak', concern, desire for well being, a need for a healthy pack. If Vertie was a wolf she would be bowing to Theresa, active play submission. She was offering herself as the "Play Master" of the group.

Theresa's wolf didn't see to be in a social position to accept the submission and just continued to growl and pace. "Out of my head, Vertie," Theresa said with a slight physical growl.

[Vertie Easley]

Vertie nodded her head. "You have a problem." She pulled back carefully as she spoke to Theresa. "I'm here to help, but I can't if you don't let me."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"What's up with them?" she stage-whispers at Brigid, Steph and Murphy. Her mind seemed to be more or less free of 'wolf', at least consciously. There's a ball of fangs and fur slowly building up inside her though; it just hasn't burst out yet. Apparently Jennifer's questionable table manners and taste are all her own and possibly the weed's.

"No clue," Brigid says as she licks visibly sharp teeth, having finished her burger and reaching for another.

Her wolf looms large in her mind, recently stirred up and restless.

[Theresa McMasters]

Vertie nodded her head. "You have a problem." She pulled back carefully as she spoke to Theresa. "I'm here to help, but I can't if you don't let me."

"Spare me," Theresa hissed. "You should probably be more concerned with the idiots who can turn into hellbeasts who are smoking mind altering flora." She rolled to a sitting position, turning her back to Vertie.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"You know, if you tried some of this it might actually calm you down. Just sayin'."

[Hannah Murphy]

"Play nice," Murphy says. "Not here to judge."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Murphy's right. Fighting here accomplishes nothing ."

[Brigid Plunder]

"Yeah, we're... all pack here?" She says, looking to Vertie.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"We should be. There's so much we can do together that no one else understands. No one."

[Vertie Easley]

Vertie stood carefully, setting her milkshake aside. "Actually, a fight might be what we need. National Geographic 101. Wolves meed structure. They need to firmly establish who is what in their pack, that ranking order provides security, safety. Fighting and regular play establish and reaffirms that in packs. Right now, Theresa's wolf feels it has no place. I tried to place myself as submissive "play master" to her, now we have growling. She needs to be shown who the Alpha is, who the Beta's are and who are Gamma's, the whole latin shabang."

"First person to try something gets a lightning bolt in the snout," Theresa says threateningly.

[Brigid Plunder]

"Geez, Theresa."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Yeah, that sounds like a whole lotta bull to me. If you need me for anything, I'll be over there while you work out who gets to eat shit from everyone else. I get enough of that in class." she says, dusting off her pants and grabbing another handful of chicken nuggets before wandering off towards the trees.

Theresa stood up, "Yeah, maybe some space wouldn't be a bad idea."

[Vertie Easley]

"You don't have to fight. You're human and wolf, but someone needs to take lead and everyone needs to follow. But you know what, it's fine. Don't listen to the girl who grew up with wild animals. Figure it out yourselves." She raised her hands over her head a pulled herself from the group, cold shower time and isolation. "I'll be here when you get your human heads out of your human asses and realize you AREN'T completely human anymore!" She picked up her milkshake and sat down on a log.

Murphy sighs.

Murphy's sigh actually made Theresa's frame cringe a little, but she stiffened and started heading for a different set of trees.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Maybe if you wanna bridge human and animal you should consider spending some more time around humans, Mowgli." Jennifer snipes, adding a mental "And if you keep trying to condition the wolf in me with your brain-vibes I'm gonna start trying to condition the human in you with mine. Got that?" to Vertie before she disappears between the trees.

Murphy watches the two leave, scratching at the silver band around her neck briefly.
