Altamira's Room: Winn Reborn

[Winifred Winters]

"Yeah, but I'm pretty sure I hear in more then that," Winn says, "'Cause when that music kicks in, you sound like you're center stage."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Well, that's kind of you to say. And it makes sense--I AM kind of central to the universe."

[Winifred Winters]

"And you're humble too," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"It is difficult to be humble in my position."

[Winifred Winters]

"Yeah, it must be a real struggle."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"You mock, but it is. I have to...remember to hold on to humanity, at times."

[Winifred Winters]

"Shouldn't be that hard," Winn says. "Being a person sucks but it's better than being a force of nature, like fucking gravity or something."

"Gravity can't drink. Or get laid. It would suck so bad."

"It's actually very difficult. Humans are so fragile..."

[Winifred Winters]

"Yeah, you don't need to tell me about that."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Sometimes it's...easier, being above it all. But then you do nasty things."

[Winifred Winters]

"That's why God invented tequila," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"I'll have to ask him about that."

[Winifred Winters]

"Afterwards, could you go ask Santa Claus how he gets all those darn presents around the world in one night?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Oh, I already know that one."

[Winifred Winters]

"If you say magic, I'm popping you in the nose," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"You couldn't lay a finger on me," she laughed.

[Winifred Winters]

Winn reaches out to poke Altamira.

With a slight ripple of distortion, Winn found herself on the OTHER SIDE of Mira.

[Winifred Winters]

"Cheater," Winn grumbles.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"I think not."

[Winifred Winters]

"Think so," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"No, if I was cheating, I would have sent you to the moon or shrank you to the size of a gnat or something."

[Winifred Winters]

"I bet you steal from the bank in Monopoly too," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"I've never played monopoly!"

[Winifred Winters]

"Never played Monopoly? Yeesh, no wonder you have trouble with the whole humanity thing," Winn teases.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"...I don't get it."

[Winifred Winters]

"Monopoly is humanity," Winn says. "Lying, cheating, stealing, desperate people screwing each other over until one guy has everything and everyone else is dead in a ditch."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"You're short-selling yourself. You can be brave and noble and cute."

[Winifred Winters]

"Haven't seen any of that yet," Winn says. "I'll take your word for it."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"You will? I'm glad! People around here don't seem to want to do that."

[Winifred Winters]

Winn laughs and shakes her head, "Yeah, well you are some sort of cosmic owl or whatever, so why not?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"People don't like hearing that what they think is wrong," Mira nodded.

[Winifred Winters]

"Ain't that the truth," Winn says.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"It is. I can verify that."

[Winifred Winters]

"Anything else I should watch out for?" Winn asks. "Like, I'm not gonna go nuclear or something, right?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Probably not--but don't let it build up. Find things you don't need or can replace, and break them and fix them. Burn off that excess energy."

[Winifred Winters]

"Alright," Winn says. "I'll...figure something out."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"I'm always here to help.

Well, I'm not always HERE to help, but you know what I mean."
