Sept 6: Godzilla Vs. King Sandwich

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

John sat down and started his custom belt mounted holo-screen. That wasn't bragging was it?

He wasted no time loading up the same twitter page and running a student database comparison in a second floating window.

"Bingo. Jean-Louise Murphy."

"You're the best." She hops up excitedly, packing her things back in her bag. "I really am sorry about Frankie, by the way. If he comes around again, just smoosh him. It won't hurt him."

You do realize I'm still listening, right?
Bug off.

She thinks about her pun and begins giggling. Probably made her seem a bit crazy, but oh well.

"It hasn't hurt so far. Don't see why it would anyway. He's just a tattoo...thing. My wings are the same way. Can't say I've ever felt them hurt either."

She smirks back and gives a wave. "Elise Holdrust! Friends call me El. So where'd you get that cool...thingie..." She motions to the device he has. "That thing. Is it like, a super Iphone?"

"I guess you could say it's more like a tablet computer in function, but capable of generating a holographic touchscreen of variable size. Though now that you mention it, threading my phone through it is a great idea," he said with geeky enthusiasm.

"I... kinda built it from scratch because I was tired of scratching everything."

"Yep!" She beams a smile. "I'm gonna go get a hold of this Jean chika and see what I can find out. This is soooo exciting!" With the rest of her lunch put away and everything ready to go, she gives him a wave. "Thanks for the info, and sorry again about Frankie. Just let me know if he keeps bothering you. Normally it's a one hit thing for him though."

"I'm not," he said as he picked up a fallen leaf. He breathed out a puff of blueish-white energy which left the leaf frozen solid.

"About a minute, more or less depending on the rate, which is when I run out of the energy. It takes a long time to recharge after that. Makes me tired using that much at once too,"

"Yeah yeah! Just...just turn your head a little bit to the left. Let the sun kind of be like...right off the side of your head." Elise says as she steps to the left a bit.

"The silhouette will be stellar."

You really think you can paint this?

John followed the advice and actually did look pretty badass (and a lot less like the Brawny Man).

"When you're ready."

She takes a few shots of the display quickly with her phone. "Oh this is perfect! Thank you sooo much!"

That's...actually not bad. Use water color instead of your normal oil paint and you could get something seriously great here. But I have to say, I really don't think you'll be able to do it.
Pffft I got this.

"This is going to be great."
