[Veronica Glarette]

"What do you need to work towards citizenship? Is zee cost zee only sing stopping you?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"I need at least five years of residence here for citizenship, I think. Renouncing is pretty much just the cost, but I also don't want to necessarily be stateless either."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Zee politics off sings never ceased to amaze me. Mais, you have zis to look forward to in a few years." She smiles. "Are you majoring in anysing?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Superhero work with a side of environmental science."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Ah, makes sense." She nods. "I am sorry for asking so many questions. I am not used to being able to speak so openly wis oders about certain sings."

[Theresa McMasters]

"A good portion of my life is an open book, so don't worry about asking questions. If we hit a touchy subject, I'll just decline to answer."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Fair enough! How long have you known about your powers?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Since early high school, junior high-ish maybe. They were a little easier to hide then. Southern Alabama always has some weird weather, so no one thought much of it."

[Veronica Glarette]

She nods in understanding. "So like, rain on one side off zee down, and dry and sunny on zee other?"

[Theresa McMasters]

She nodded, "There was a tornado. I'm not sure whether that was me or not. That was a pretty bad day for everyone."

[Veronica Glarette]

"You get some pretty bad tornadoes in zee states, non? We get quite a few in France, but zey are not typically terrible. Oh except for zee one in Nord a long time ago. Zat one was brutal."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Some areas are worse than others, but yeah, we get quite a few."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Zat has to be pretty scary, non?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"When I was little, yeah, but the more I've gotten involved with the weather, the less scary it's become."

[Veronica Glarette]

She nods in understanding. "Zis makes sense. Zough I imagine controlling sings like zee tornados was not really possible, non? It would haf alerted people, would it not?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"I'm not even positive I could really control one even now. They're wild, unpredictable things. But I was tempted to try to write my name in the landscape with them a few times when I was in high school."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Zat sounds like it would haf been a bit over zee top." She says with a laugh. "But creative."

[Theresa McMasters]

"The longer you live with me, the more you'll find that my life is always a bit over the top."

[Veronica Glarette]

"I do not see anysing wrong wis zat. May even teach me a few sings. I can not say I haf zee same."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Well, if my music ever gets too loud or I get too irritating, just tell me."

[Veronica Glarette]

She waves a hand dismissively. "I am sure eet will not bother me. Museek is one off my escapes."

[Theresa McMasters]

Theresa just grinned, "I sincerely doubt my music would be an escape for you. I listen mostly to Rock and Symphonic Metal."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Truly, zere is not much zat bozers me. I just can not stand zee rap music around."

[Theresa McMasters]

"Not really my thing either, so I think we'll be good there."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Perfect." She sighs in relief. "Zat music makes me question zee developmental stages off some people."
