Sept. 3, Lunchtime Showtime

Vivienne moved along the path towards the open lawn, with every passing group of students, she was beginning to wish she'd changed first. She reached the sword and smiled as she felt Caledfwlch call to her.

Kara is currently standing a couple feet away from the sword, eyeing it with a determined look in her eyes. One of her energy ribbons is unfurled and she looks like she's trying to figure out the best way to use it to pull the sword out of the ground and the water that's enveloping it.

"Oh hey, whassup?" she says before actually looking up at Vivienne. "Ah shoot, you're the sword-lady. Are you here to pick it back up? Did I miss my chance to become Queen of England?" she jokes.

"I would, but if you manged to claim Caledfwlch then it would be yours and I would be bound by Fey Law. If I wished to reclaim it I would have to defeated you in honorable combat for it." She watched the ribbons. "You may actually be able to make a very valiant effort."

"That feels like cheating... Tell you what, you take your sword and then we'll fight in an honorable sparring match." she chuckles. "I don't even know how to fight with a sword."

"I do not see your logic, you do not wish to attempt to claim Caledfwlch and you do not wish for me to challenge you for it should you succeed but you wish to challenge me should I succeed. Whether I challenge you or you challenge me, the outcome would be the same. I do not wish to harm you and I am not in favor with the Headmistress at this moment, I do not think it would be wise for me to accept nor put forth any such challenge."

Kara looks extremely confused for a moment as she tries to follow along.

"Whoa, hey, no, I just thought it'd be fun to spar. I don't actually want to steal your sword."

"Ah." Vivienne lightly smoothed the front of her gown. "I would enjoy a good sparing. No sword needed." she smiled.

"Another day, now I need to reclaim Caledfwlch before someone else and go see Professor Weaver." She stepped to the sword, the water quivered and fell to the grass with a rather unimpressive splash. She took the hilt and pulled hard, freeing the sword and quickly wrapping her large ornate sleeve around it to hid it.
