South Wing: Jennifer Newgate and Winifred Winters

[Winifred Winters]

And before long Winn is curled up against Jennifer and fast asleep.

[Jennifer Newgate]

The next morning Jennifer yawns and rolls over, completing her blanket burrito and stealing the last bit of the covers from Winn, still half asleep and apparently unaware she's in the wrong bed.

[Winifred Winters]

A cranky, hungover Winn responds by grabbing the blanket and yanking it back violently.

[Jennifer Newgate]

Jennifer goes rolling over along with the blanket and ends up sprawled on top of Winn, tangled hair everywhere. She lets out a single grunting snore.

[Winifred Winters]

"Get offa me," Winn grumbles, still half-asleep. She tries to push Jennifer off, but between the blankets and Jennifer tangled up with her, she's a little stuck.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Don'wannagetup..." she mumbles but ends up doing half a roll off of Winn thanks to her shoving.

[Winifred Winters]

Winn tries to reach for the nighstand drawer where she keeps her cigarettes, but can't quite make it.

"Uggghhh...you are officially the most annoying person I've ever woken up next to."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Nosmokingintheroom." she seems to somehow know what Winn's trying to do. At least she does finally rouse herself enough to sit up.

[Winifred Winters]

"Is there any joy you don't hate," Winn says bitterly, collapsing back onto the bed.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Watching you suffer is pretty fun." she yawns, grabbing her elbow and stretching her arms over her head.

[Winifred Winters]

Winn groans, "Why are you in my bed?"

[Jennifer Newgate]

"You were pretty drunk last night." she says, as if that explained anything.

[Winifred Winters]

"Not that drunk," Winn says, rubbing her head.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"I said you were drunk, not me." she rolls her eyes.

[Winifred Winters]

"Oh, so you got into my bed with me while I was drunk and you were sober," Winn says. "'Cause that's not creepy or anything."

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Hoisting your enormous ego into your bed was exhausting."

[Winifred Winters]

"Especially when you have to haul around your massive sense of self-righteousness," Winn says, rolling her eyes.

[Jennifer Newgate]

Jennifer just yawns and stretches again in response.

"I'm gonna go take a shower."

[Winifred Winters]

"Good. You smell awful," Winn says, wrapping her pillow around her head.

[Jennifer Newgate]

Jennifer lifts her arm and sniffs her sleeve. She doesn't seem particularly displeased, shrugs and heads out the door.

[Winifred Winters]

Meanwhile, Winn tries her best to not move her head or hear anything. Everything hurt too much.

Jennifer doesn't come back. Apparently she decided to go to class in the slept in clothes she wore yesterday, either forgetting or not bothering to pick up her school bag.

[Winifred Winters]

Winn had gotten showered and dressed, but didn't seem too interested in leaving the room at the moment. She was on her bed, listening to loud and shout music in the dark.

She's such a tortured soul.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Oh great, you're still here." Jennifer notes when she comes back from class and flicks on the lights.

[Winifred Winters]

"And you're still a bitch," Winn says. "How's that working out for you?"

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Pretty good. I think Deer Boy was hitting on me in the dining hall." she lies. Winn seemed like the kind of person to hang out with somebody just to ruin somebody's day so this seemed like a decent enough plan to get her out of her hair. Either those two are going to hook up or kill each other. Either way I'll have my peace and quiet.

[Winifred Winters]

"Makes sense. Elk have really bad eyesight," Winn says, sitting up.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Lucky me, I guess." she fakes a brief smile before dumping her backpack on her desk.

[Winifred Winters]

Winn gets out of bed and fishes through her drawers for cigarettes and a lighter.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Take that shit outside."

[Winifred Winters]

"That's what I'm doing," Winn snaps. "Fuck off."

Pulling on a jacket, Winn heads out the door, slamming it behind her.

[Jennifer Newgate]

"Thank goodness..." Jennifer sighs with relief and lets herself fall onto her bed.
