Orientation night - Peaceful, easy feelings (right?)

"Nooo, I'm just finding it funny. Because you just don't seem like the 'live in the moment' type to me," he said, grinning.

[Veronica Glarette]

"Not zee way some people see it, non. I may not be one to jump to zee possibility off dangers and zee like, but I believe in zee beauty off life. I believe zat people should take zee time to learn and understand zee sings around zem. So, I suppose it is a different way off 'life in zee moment', but I still see it as such. Life is too short. Why not understand it and be a part off it before it is too late? Taking actions to be a part off zee world and experience it is beneficial. Zee chance to understand it should not be passed up, unless off course it is illogical."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Decent philosophy," he said. "Just be careful... There's a lot of 'spectator' wording in there." He swooped them down, circling around the shore again.

[Veronica Glarette]

She nods, watching around as they circle. "Do you do zis often?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan gave her a guarded look. "Fly? All the time. I've... sort of been a sky-addict since I was thirteen."

[Veronica Glarette]

"I mean zee grounds here. Do you patrol? I ask because if you do zis often, I'd like so see if you would enjoy company."

Ryan grinned at her slyly as they landed. "So... what you're trying to say, without saying, is 'could you please take me flying again'?" he teased as he came to a running landing on the shore.

[Veronica Glarette]

"Well, it partially zat, I admit." She says as they land. "But it is also just was going to be an offer off company should you feel like it. No one should have to feel alone in any way, shape, or form. Zat includes you. It is merely an offer off company if you ever want someone to talk to. Regardless of what it is about." She gives him a soft smile.

"So is this a 'I don't get to talk to you unless I do the calling?'" Ryan asked with a grin.

[Veronica Glarette]

Her face flushes a bit. "Well no, I...uh...I would enjoy talking to you more and I could call if you do not mind it and it wouldn't annoy you..." It just kind of came out of her mouth before she really thought about what she ways saying. Brilliant. Who are you kidding, Veronica? This guy is way out of your league. Don't be an idiot, he's just being polite.

Ryan smirked. "I told you you could call me whenever almost a year ago, didn't I?" He paused a minute, his smile dropping. "Wait, I did, didn't I?" Spent the whole day trying not to come off as creepy, maybe I didn't... shit...

[Veronica Glarette]

She smiles a bit sheepishly. "Well...well no. I do not remember you saying zat, but it is no problem. I may have misheard." You didn't mishear, you liar. You listened to every word he said. But there's no need for him to feel bad. Just roll with it. "I'm sure you did say it." She nods reassuringly.

[Ryan Gabriel]

He chuckled. "Nah, I think I decided not to. You spent that whole first day thinking I was some creepy stalker, I didn't want to scare you off."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Well, you have to admit...someone coming all the way from here to zere just to look for one person and track them down perfectly...it was definitely creepy." She smirks a bit. "But I hold nosing against you for zat."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Well I'm glad that my creepiness isn't an issue," he said with a dry chuckle. "But if you don't call, I'll just figure I'm still being creepy."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Zen I guess zee solution to zis is for me to call you." She nods.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I'll call you first if it makes you feel better," he joked, remembering to set her down now.

[Veronica Glarette]

She lets go from around his neck as he sets her down, giving him a smile. "Wis my luck, I'd accidentally call you during a class or when you were trying to save zee world, yes?" She joked back. Pulling a hair tie from her pocket, she throws up her hair, a bit self conscious of how it probably looked after all the wind.

He shrugged. "Then just leave me a voicemail. World-saving doesn't last forever. And I could skip the class," he joked.

[Veronica Glarette]

She chuckles. "Alright. Zen I'll call you. Do you text as well?" Am I going overboard?

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I do stay up with the times, yes," he joked.

[Veronica Glarette]

"I can see zat from your blog." She admits, chucking. "Still, I wanted to make sure."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Ohhhh, so you did read it, then?" Ryan teased, dropping his arm from around her back.

[Veronica Glarette]

Again her face flushes. "Well, it was a way to see how you were doing. I mean...you...well to know if you were alright doing zee whole saving zee world and such. Zat you were safe. It has to be dangerous doing what you do."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"It was a quiet summer," he said with a smile. Mostly. "It's good to know someone was concerned, though."

[Veronica Glarette]

She shrugs, smiling back. "It was comforting to know zat zee person zat basically saved me is safe zemselves."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Nah... I was just a delivery man. I'm pretty sure you could have taken care of yourself, you just needed a push in the right direction."

[Veronica Glarette]

"Well, I sank you for being zee 'delivery man' regardless. Not going to just forget zat." She says with a chuckle.
