Sept 2nd - Dining Hall

[Jennifer Newgate]

"What are you yelling at her for? She's not from here, you know." Jennifer says as she slowly walks over, stopping briefly to look down when her shoes soak through with water.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"And that's all well and good, but ignorance doesn't give someone permission to threaten or endanger others."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Even in this place the innocent can become dangerous." The sword stayed in her back as the waters began to build around Vivienne's body, forming armor, her own eyes glowing and her skin taking on a blue-green hue. "You do not understand. I can not be separated from my Caledfwlch, just as you can not be separated from your....wolf, or your wings. It is not a "thing" to be placed on a shelf to me."

As if to prove a point, Ryan's wings evaporated into motes of light. "I'm going to be completely blunt here: I don't care what it is to you. All I care is what it is, and that's a sword. And we don't just allow people to carry weapons around here, particularly not people prone to jumping and pointing them at children. We have an entire world trying to make us out to be dangerous weapons, how is it going to help us to have someone waving a sword around? It's not. So we aren't going to allow it. You want to prove yourself as a 'champion'? Start by not trying to undermine the authority in the place you're trying to lay your head."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"This will not be forgotten." Vivienne's eyes narrowed at Ryan's "trick" before she brought her focus to Stephanie. "So be it." She said as she drew Caledfwlch and slammed it into the ground between herself and the two. Her armor melted from her body and the excess water pulled away from everyone else, leaving them all dry, but Ryan and reformed around the sword, encasing it. "I am..unarmed. None need to fear Caledfwlch."

[Graham Jaeger]

"Ow..." Graham groaned, rubbing his ears. When he noticed Steph wolfing out, he sat bolt upright and out of instinct flipped himself over the bench to hide.

"It would have been pretty pointless if this got forgotten." Ryan reached out to take the sword.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph's demeanor softened considerably once the sword was in the ground, and her eyes shifted back to their normal brown hue. "Thank you..." she said softly.

She regarded Graham, "It's okay. I wouldn't hurt you."

[Graham Jaeger]

Graham stood up, looking embarrassed. "I know that..."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

As Ryan reached for the hilt the water crept up attempting to covered it and the hilt. The water remained fluid, but it was arctic cold. More then a few seconds and he would begin to experience the first indications of cold damage. "I said it was mine and mine alone. It will remain until I reclaim it." She turned to Paul. "I acted rashly, forgive me. I never meant to frighten, or threaten, a fellow student of this school." She curtsied and stepped to Stephanie. "I will retire to my chambers until you deem me sufficiently chastised."

Jennifer snorts. "Chastised."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"We'll speak with the headmistress and she or I or all of us will discuss this later." Steph nodded at vivienne

[Barbara Kirby]

Barbara peeked her head out the door again, now that most of the fuss seemed to be over.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan, meanwhile, seemed to be silently counting to ten for some reason.

"I would expect nothing less." She said with a bow to Stephanie before she turned and began heading back to her room.

Ryan glanced around at the crowd, still looking irritated. "Everyone go finish your lunch before class starts."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Steph walked over to Ryan and put a hand on his shoulder. "You alright?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"The Headmistress knew about her. I saw her coming out of the building with her. So I'm trying to figure out why this bullshit was allowed. Oh, and I'm kind of seething at this 'I'm going to pull a trick so that you can't take the sword and I can pick it up when you're not looking crap," he said, his voice lowered.

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"We'll talk it over with Sam and see what's going on. If she's really fey, they're supposed to be people of their word."

She squeezed his shoulder, "breathe, Ry, you're going to pull something if you stay this tense."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan took a deep breath. "Yeah, sorry. Thanks. Just... jumpy. Some crazy chick just pointed a sword at one of our kids and doesn't seem to understand that that's a really big freaking deal."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"I know. It took a lot of restraint to not just wolf out and tackle her. But we resolved it, and will get even more resolution once we talk with Sam."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan nodded. "No time like the present?"

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

"Agreed," she nodded, heading towards the Headmistress' office.
