Orientation - North of Savannah

The Estate's meticulously kept gardens, including a hedgemaze that students have occasionally described as "sadistic" and a sizeable rose garden. Benches in shaded spots are plentiful, and the gardens are popular to study in on pleasant days.

"Lava dragon," she said, holding up her hand which became more foot-like with claws and a rocky appearance before the change receded and her normal hand returned. She seemed a little proud that she'd managed that.

"Oh man, you would make for killer album art. I bet you could make some dough with that."

"The dragon part I mean, not so much the burned clothes. I mean you still could but, you know..." she chuckles.

"I can't set things on fire, but I can break plenty of stuff." she says and a glowing ribbon of energy shoot out from her sleeve and she whips it around and at a small branch of the tree. "Boom! Pretend that was someone holding a gun or something. And that I hit the one I aimed for."

"Yep." she says, pulling some of it back in and twirling the remaining length in a circle with her hand. "Everyone always thinks they cut through stuff - thanks Star Wars - but they're actually kinda solid. Still hurt like a motherfucker though." she grimaces and holds the back of her head.

Gemma scuttled out of the way, looking down when she saw who was coming. She shoved her hands into her pockets and tried to look as non-threatening as possible.

John noticed the response and chuckled. Clearly he was used to the reaction his appearance could generate. "Easy there. I don't bite."
