Fresh off the Bus

[Theresa McMasters]

"Hold on a second," Theresa said, holding up a hand. "Explain." It wasn't clear who she was talking to.

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

Vivienne was smirking as Victoria turned and fled, but it was short lived as Theresa's question pulled her from her petty triumph.

"I suppose you would not be familiar with it's true name. I believe my mother said that the popular literature of the times referred to it as Avalon."

[Victoria Valentine]

"So either she's a nutcase or we have even more nonsense with celtic gods going on. Either way, not my headache," Victoria put in on her own behalf.

[Kara Vanderbilt]

"Ooh! So you're like Thor! That explains the funky way of talking."

[Victoria Valentine]

At the mention of Thor, Victoria 'hmphed' and muttered something about gods not calling in the morning.

[Theresa McMasters]

"So whose problem does that make her?"

[Victoria Valentine]

"Well, walking around with that big-ass sword? I'm going to guess either the Headmistress or Gabriel's, depending on if it turns into a school safety issue or a student safety issue."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

Vivienne thought a moment about Kara's comment. "I am not sure I see the similarity and there should be no "safety issue" so long as my safety is no threatened."

[Theresa McMasters]

"I don't think you understand the rules around here," Theresa said. "I really should take you to talk to the Headmistress."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Yes, welcome to the 21st century, darling. People aren't allowed to walk around schools with big bits of pointy metal. Makes parents touchy when that stuff is around their children, hm?"

[Kara Vanderbilt]

Kara just laughs. "They gonna make us check our mutations at the door too?"

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"I do not understand. Why would a parent have fear? I thought this island was a place of peace. Are attacks on the innocent here so frequent that all who are armed are suspect?"

[Theresa McMasters]

"Oh man... long story," she said. "Trust me, it's better if you get the Headmistress' permission to carry it around. It will save everyone a headache in the long run. Gabriel might be easier to find, but I'm not sure he'd be able to stop drooling long enough to deal with it."

[Vivienne Chinnoir]

"Yes, I do believe that would be best, before someone makes a truly serious error in judgement."

[Theresa McMasters]

"This way then," she said, taking a stab at where Sam might be. "Kara, catch you later. Victoria, dinner. My treat. Just let me know when."
