"As long as its not to the death, sure."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Oh, Kevin. I wouldn't let anything to happen to you," she smiled.

"It's the other guy I'm worried about," he smirked, futilely covering for his distaste for death.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Oh, this is all a very up-and-up competition. Judges and medics and sponsors all all those things. Yes, people get seriously hurt now and then, but they get some of the finest medical treatment available. I don't think anyone has died in a long time."

[Kevin Gravis]

"So... this is an intergalactic thing?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"No! No no no no.

InTRA-galactic thing. Just this galaxy."

[Kevin Gravis]

"Too late. Already hearing The Beastie Boys in my head."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Maybe we could make that your entrance music."

[Kevin Gravis]

"I get entrance music?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Oh, yes. And crowds of people cheering for you...or against you."

"Well then... that... sounds so frakking awesome it hurts," he grinned.

"We should go and check it out, see if it's something you're still interested in. I think you'd do good, and it would help them to see a human kicking some butt."

[Kevin Gravis]

"Damn straight," he nodded.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Well, we'll take a little trip here, get your paperwork together and all that. I can get box seats because, well, duh."

"Is my sponsor you?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Well, I haven't lined anyone else up yet or anything."

"Is there anyone else who'd sponsor a puny human?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Not yet--but maybe you can go out and show them wrong, right?"

"I shall show them the splendor of puny ape with pointy thing."

"Well, I don't think your outfit would be THAT skimpy, for them to see your pointy-thing," Mira teased. "Though I have some ideas for that--there's a lot of pageantry involved here."

"Sortof like the Hunger Games without the soul-crushing oppression and murder?"

"And the death! Don't forget about the death."

[Kevin Gravis]

"Yes, and the death," he agreed.

"I'll get the paperwork started then, and we can go see what it's all about. Tomorrow night?"

"Sure," he smiled.

"Now then. How to keep us entertained until then..." she grinned.
