Underneath the Hedge Maze

Roland, in his hidden underground ~~love nest~~ bunker, was sauteeing some mushrooms up with his garlic pasta, with some red wine sitting, waiting.

He hadn't spent most of the past few hours tidying up the mess that was the bunker, no sir. He hadn't re-arranged the various trophies and artifacts to be less intimidating, certainly. And he DEFINITELY hadn't taken steps to make the sarcophagus less prominent. Why would you think that?

Haley walked in without a knock and set her small purse on a chair. She was dressed nicely in a pair of jeans and a cute black top.

"Hi," she said quietly.
