"Outside," she whispered, struggling to get up. Some of the other patrons were glancing their way and one of the waiters was coming over to see what was going on.

"Okay," said the waiter, who obviously wasn't paid enough to care too much. They made it outside without incident before Allison doubled over. "I need to get out of sight. Something's..." She winced.

As they got to the car, a couple of men approached them, hands in their jackets. They addressed Dee, "Oi, love, you can leave her right there, we'll take it from here."

"Has it occurred to you that this isn't a very smart idea?"

One hand was at her side. It didn't appear to be reaching for her pocket or anything, but it did seem to be idly tapping at her leg.

One of them pulled a gun part of the way out of his jacket. "Look, we'd rather not shoot you since we're not getting paid to. And in a few minutes, she'll be in no position to argue, so just walk away."

Dee could feel Allison's muscles rippling as she tried to focus enough to shift. So far she wasn't having much success.

"She's not listening Morris. Just shoot her and be done with it," the other guys said, pulling a pistol with a silencer from his jacket.

"Sorry, love," Morris said, pulling his pistol and leveling it at her.

About that moment, Dee could feel Allison's muscles starting to grow.

There's a faint whistling noise of something approaching fast and the next moment Dee's hand is hit by a metal glove that closes around her hand.

"No, I'm sorry, Morris..." She says as she fires a repulsor blast at the gunman.

Hopefully it's a good one, as she'll need the rest of the suit's power for more than just one. She spreads her other arm in anticipation.

The man went flying backwards from the repulsor blast, totally unprepared for Dee to suddenly be armed. This distracted the other man as he looked to see what happened to Morris even as he leveled his own pistol in Dee's direction.

On the ground now, there was the sound of ripping cloth as Allison forced a shift, letting out a long low growl as she did so.

The rest of Dee's armor quickly follows. When the faceplate closes the display lights up in an unusual dark pink color.

"My apologies, I had to override your guidance system."

"Couldn't be helped," she says, apparently to nobody.

"Prime the tasers, we're throwing a party for these fellows."

She levels both arms of the suit at their attackers, fists clenched and pointed down.

"Tasers engaged. Trajectory calculated." Ashlie chirps, part of the lower arm of the armor rising up and firing taser bullets at the second man.

Morris is trying to pick himself up from the ground while his friend fires his pistol, very ineffectually, at the now-armored Dee. The tasers catch him full in the chest and he rattles off his last shot into the air as he goes down.

Another two-pronged tazer shoots out of the armor's arm at the thug's forehead.

She looks over her shoulder at Allison.

"Can you believe these fellows?"

Dee goes skidding across the pavement in her armor, sparks flying as metal scrapes on concrete.

"...what was that bloody for?" She grunts as the gyroscopes and servos help her stand again.

Allison was standing, breathing heavily and fully shifted. She growled and charged, attempting to pounce on the armored assailant.

"Tazer expected to be inefficient. Diverting power to repulsor systems!" she informs Dee while firing up the boot-repulsors to try and slide out from under the pouncing werecat and put Dee back upright.

Allison flexed her hands, causing the claws to extend as she snarled at the iron suit. She circled it warily, looking for an opening.
