Kay knocks on the door to Miranda's and Kayla's dorm, crappy laptop and a bag of microwave popcorn under her arm.

Miranda opened the door, tugging the hood of her sweatshirt down over her eyes as she did. "Hi, Kay! You found a movie?"

"Yeah, it's on my computer, but we can hook it up to the big TV in the common room if you want."

"There's a microwave in the kitchen next to the common room, so let's watch it there." she says, holding up the bag of popcorn.

"Sure, if you want!" she smiles and puts her laptop down next to the TV in the common room. "Do you know how to make popcorn?" she asks and immediately feels like a giant ass. "Uh, I mean..."

She shook her head, "No, I don't. Sorry." The movement of the hood gave Kay enough of a glimpse to see that Miranda wasn't wearing her usual binding.

"That's okay! Don't worry, I'll show you!" she says, plugging a cable into the computer before booting it up. Standing up she picks up the popcorn and heads over towards the kitchen. "Did you take off your blindfold?"

"Aaand there we go, that's how you make popcorn!" she says, pulling the package from the microwave and pouring the popcorn into a bowl. "Try some!" she smiles, holding the bowl out to Miranda.

Miranda gingerly picked up some and popped it in her mouth. After some thoughtful chewing, she said, "Interesting."

Kay starts up the movie before hopping onto the couch next to Miranda, almost more excited about Miranda's reaction to her first movie ever than the movie itself.

"That was..." She tilts her head back and forth as she looks for the words. "A nice story. I'm not sure I understand it all, but it was neat."

"Sure! This one is, like, super great." she says and puts Frozen on. Sitting back down on the couch she totally doesn't scoot a little closer to Miranda. That must be a total accident.

If Miranda notices, she doesn't say anything. She actually sniffles a couple of times during the movie. "I really liked that," she said when it was over.

Kay manages to not silently talk/sing along for most of the movie.

"I know right? It's so great! I'm glad you liked it!" she beams.
