"Oh, of course not. You've just set up your own little domain of control here with a bunch of subjects who have to do what you say. Nothing at all like that," she needled.

"You make it sound so draconian."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Traditional, I think, is more the word I would use.

Nothing wrong with that! You're learning by doing and all those things."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"That's one reason I'm here," she continued. "Offering advice, you know?

ANd in return, maybe I'll rediscover some of the things that made Altamira worthwile..."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'll do my best to listen. It was hard to admit to myself that you didn't need my advice anymore."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Maybe I do still need your advice, and maybe you need mine.

That's why I'm here. For you guys. And Kevin, of course," she smiled, ruffling his hair.

"Oh, and maybe to kill your history professor. We'll play that one by ear."

"I think I might take exception to that."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Is it bad that I'd be curious to see if it'd stick?"

"You would protect him from me, then?"

[Samantha McManus]

"What did you expect my reaction to be?"

[Altamira Vazquez]

"I don't know. Maybe I was just testing that," she grinned. "Maybe some flipped tables and demanding to know where I got off or something of that nature."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I think it's fairly safe to say that people would take umbrage with that. And I'm sure we'd try to stop you from killing people as well." Nailah smirks.

[Altamira Vazquez]

"Well, we'll see. He IS an abomination, mind you, but then, that's what called me back."

[Samantha McManus]

"I think we're rather used to being accused of going against the natural order, here."

[Altamira Vazquez]

"That's different."

[Nailah Weaver]

"While I certainly understand why, it doesn't seem quite fair. It's not his fault after all."

"He may not have known what he was getting into, but that's no excuse.

But listen to me, rambling away about work. How rude of me."

"You said you were thinking about sticking around. It feels strange to ask, but do you want a room at the school?"

"If it would not be too much trouble. Otherwise, I suppose I could return to the lighthouse."

"There's room in either, but if you want to reconnect with Altamira then maybe the dorms would be a better idea."

"Are there even any rooms available, though? Or should I just bunk in with Kevin, here?" she teased, poking Kevin in the side.

[Kevin Gravis]

"I have no problem with that, provided I get to make all the I Dream of Jeannie and Bewitched references I want. Also, no cosmic supervillains over."

"Oh! And an alien puppy! This has sitcom all over it."

"I'm a witch, now? I thought that was Victoria."

[Kevin Gravis]

"Of course not. You're not a genie either... though there was that flying carpet..."

"She has a flair for the dramatic, at least."

"It's required. That's something you'll have to work on."
