Roland was finishing up some grading, chuckling at the mistakes some of the (npc) college students had made on their history.

"Really now. I mean, that doesn't even make sense"

"What is the craziness this time?"

[Roland Sackville]

"Do words in books change when I'm not looking? Because I'm really not sure where these kids got some of these ideas.

"'Many things in history are inevitable when somebody does something'. What a brilliant insight."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"That is a good one. " Amanda said "My favorite from this week's quiz was 'people do things because reasons'."

[Roland Sackville]

"Yeah. Is it possible mutations actively decrease someone's IQ?"

[Amanda Weinrich]

"I think its more that a lot of them think they can blow off school because they think can always go work for SHIELD or X-Corp." Amanda said "Half the battle is convincing them that yes, you do need to know this stuff to be a superhero."

[Roland Sackville]

"Do you, though? I'm not sure. I certainly don't see...shall we say, a higher level of aptitude...from our little band of foot soldiers."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Like I said, convince them that they need to know more than how to punch people." Amanda said "Or that they need to think about their post hero career."

[Roland Sackville]

"Perhaps making their grades part of the requirement to be on the teams? We may find ourselves quickly without a team, though."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"I think that sounds reasonable." Amanda said "We should talk to the headmistress about that."

[Roland Sackville]

"Is she still, y'know, crazy?"

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Probably." Amanda said "But she's very functional."

[Roland Sackville]

"Well, I hope so. I've been hearing the rumors over her recent trip."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"So have I, but she's been through worse, if you believe the stories."

[Roland Sackville]

"I find the least believable stories are the ones most likely to be true."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"In that case, she'll be fine."
