Work Hard, Play Hard - Nightclubbing Trip: Sept 2 evening

[Anita Fernandez]

"They're more fun if they stay attached." Anita bumps her hips against Ryan's leg, and begins dancing more normally, though with her usual grace. The crowd closes in on the school group, but they have 'celebrity' status for while now, getting a lot of attention and a little more room to move.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Yeah!" Nina says with a bright smile, having to shout over the music, "I really like dancing!"

"You're very good."

Bear dreamily swayed, moving her arms up above her.

[Narrator]

"Not Highborn, so much as Purebred. Look at you honey, your mutation is a mess, it's all over the place. You're still beautiful though. And at least you have some attitude. This is the part where people either wilt, or make me break their arm. I like you. You've got fire." The girl grins, and flicks a card out to Victoria between two fingers.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Very true," Ryan smirked, starting to dance with her again, also more normally.

Granted, for Ryan, the normal dancing still could raise its share of eyebrows. If he'd been at all conservative in his dancing before, he wasn't now.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria took the card, glancing at it briefly before tucking it into her corset. She looked up at the stranger, studying her. "If you'd met my mother, you wouldn't talk about my breeding. Sorry, is this better controlled for you?" she asked, her coloration shifting to match the other woman's, down to the minutest detail of her makeup. On close inspection, she would have even extremly closely aproximated any scars the woman had.

Nina smiled, putting her hands around Byrna's waist and swaying with her.

[Anita Fernandez]

Between the drink, and the sheer attention-high Anita is running on, she's lost a lot of her inhibitions. The dance between Ryan and Anita is getting pretty scandalous, but people are packed in closely enough that few people can see what's going on anyway.

[Narrator]

The card is pure white with dark red lettering. It says simply, "Jezebelle"

"Oooh, now I know who you remind me of. I read about your mom. Classy lady, powerful too. You're not powerful yet, sweetie, or I'd have heard of you. Maybe someday hmm?"

"Anyway, I should go. Miles to go before I sleep, and all that. Give us a kiss before I take off?" Jezebelle leans in to Victoria, though she'll pull back easily enough if she's rejected.

[Byrna Cooper]

Hear is having a really good time.. Her first in many months.

Grasping Nina's hand, she spins around, flaring out her dress in a flash of multicolor.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina laughs and lets Bear spin before pulling her back in close and dipping her.

[Byrna Cooper]

After a few moments, Bear giggled and came out of the dip, spinning with Nina in a circle and dipping her in return.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Keep your ears open," she mused. "You'll hear something, rest assured."

Victoria looked amused at the request for a kiss. Indulgently, she leaned in and kissed Jezebelle.

On pulling away, though, she bit Jezebelle's lower lip hard, still managing to make it seem seductive.

[Rick Ferguson]

Finishing his cocktail, Rick set it down on the table, making his way to the dance area. "Come join me if you want...everyone seems to have having a good time over there," he said to Marcus.

[Marcus Kingston]

He finished off his glass of water and stood from his chair. "Heh, I don't see why not." He said as he followed Rick over to the dance floor.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina laughs, sliding her leg up Byrna's side as she's dip and pausing for a moment before coming back up and continuing dancing with the girl while pressing very close to her.

[Narrator]

Victoria may be surprised to feel Jezebelle not only allow the bite, but to feel literal fangs puncture her own lip.

Jezebelle pulls back after a few seconds with a bloody mouth, and licks her lips. "You know, if you copied your mom's mutation so well, you might BE a pureblood. We'll talk sweetie, I'll see you, okay?" She blows Victoria a kiss, and gets up, making her way to the door. People seem to unconsciously get out of her way.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan and Anita, in the meantime, didn't appear to be dancing with each other. They were dancing together, moving in unison provocatively and sensuously. "We'll have to remember to do this more often," Ryan mused, taking advantage of his position to lightly kiss her neck.

[Rick Ferguson]

Rick began to dance some, moving to the music, not along with Marcus per se, but he was close to him regardless.

"I wasn't sure I could talk you into it," he said with a grin.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita's body trembles against Ryan, and she clings to him for a minute or two. Her voice is rough and whispery. "I'm going back to the bar for a bit." She kisses him lingeringly on the lips, and then makes her way to the bar for a bottle of water.

[Marcus Kingston]

He simply gave a shrug and surprisingly, Marcus was already really into the music, probably from having been sitting back and listening to it the whole night. He leaned in, hooking Rick with one of his arms around his mid-section and pulling him in closer. He held him there for a moment before bringing his arm back, sort letting that be his response.

"Why's that?" He asked with a grin plastered on his face.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria gave a little gasp at the punctures, and sucked the blood in her mouth, swallowing it. "Come back soon," she mused, trembling a little. God...

She downed the drink she'd almost forgotten, feeling the alcohol pleasantly sting the wounds in her lip.

[Byrna Cooper]

Bear smiles dreamily, enjoying the closeness of her partner as they start moving about, around and though the packed dance floor.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina follows Byrna's lead, not seeming to notice some of the staring from the crowd.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan smirked. "You know where to find me. I might join you in a minute," he answered before letting her go, making sure she looked steady enough.

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita sinks down on a stool at the bar and sips water, looking VERY content.

[Rick Ferguson]

"You're often the 'sitting by the wall' type until I ask you about a half dozen times." He chuckled, his dance with Marcus more playful and fun than anything too serious or "romantic."

"But I'm really glad you're not feeling that way tonight."

[Zoe Walker]

After the "Mutants on Ice" show ended, Zoe mingled with the general crowd, flirting, dancing, and getting to know some of the locals. After a while she does finally need a break though, and she skates her way off the floor and back to the bar for another drink. She winds up close to Victoria and signals the 'tender for another martini. "Phew. Haven't had that much fun in forever."

What gapes and stares Bear notices are fleeting. Smiling, she focuses entirely on her partner, moving cheek to cheek.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria picked up her new drink, glancing at her roommates. She smirked. "You too, huh?" She looked at Anita, who seemed just as flustered as she was right now. "And you seem to be having fun."

[Anita Fernandez]

Anita grins. "Mmmm, I am feeling GREAT."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria smirked. "What's your excuse? You still have your clothes on, so you can't have had THAT much fun."

[Anita Fernandez]

"You don't know about my power then." Anita giggles. "It was a good time, that's all I'll say."

[Nina Madaraki]

What gapes and stares Bear notices are fleeting. Smiling, she focuses entirely on her partner, moving cheek to cheek.

Nina leans her head on Byrna's shoulder, closing her eyes and enjoying the dance.

"I dunno if they count as 'on' so much as 'around' with Anita," she grins and winks.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria chuckled. "So that's how sensitive you are, then?" she mused. "Lucky."

[Marcus Kingston]

"Hm. Well, we both know I'd give in eventually, figured might as well just jump to the conclusion. Besides, this is pretty much a celebration right? We're all on X-teams. Life's gonna be interesting."

It was true. Marcus be a little bit of a wall flower. Why though would be the biggest question, since he seemed to know what he was doing. His style was pretty Hip-hop and the quick movements seemed somewhat goofy. Either way, he knew how to get down.

Eventually, the song winded down and Bear pulled away, a look of contentment on her face.

Pointing to the bar, She smiles at Nina.

[Nina Madaraki]

Nina nods and follows Bear back to the bar, "That was a lot of fun, thanks."

[Rick Ferguson]

"Hm. Well, we both know I'd give in eventually, figured might as well just jump to the conclusion. Besides, this is pretty much a celebration right? We're all on X-teams. Life's gonna be interesting."
