I12DT - In Transition

Laura sat down with a humph as she tossed her duffle bag onto an empty bed. The rest of the room was unoccupied and she wasn't sure whether that was a coincidence or intentional. Deciding that she might as well look the place over, she stood back up, stepping out into the hallway and looking up and down it.

Laura waved back, less awkwardly. "I didn't expect a dorm to be this quiet," she said, by way of introduction.

She shrugged, "Not a big deal. You know what they say about 'it's only a problem if you get caught.' I got caught and the school I was "attending"..." She actually made air quotes with her fingers, "... decided they didn't want me."

"I would imagine so," she said, shaking her head. Her hair furled out and turned blonde, approximating Janice's hair. She shook her head again and her hair went back to its normal state.

"Not really," she said. "Specific person helps, but I can't even do that properly." She shook her head again and she took on Janice's appearance, more or less appropriately scaled to her height. It was good, but Janice could see things she'd missed. "I'm sure I've screwed up a few things," she said, her voice mostly matching Janice's.
