We Need To Talk

"Can you check and see if they've been transferred? This could be very important to Mr. Stanton and the school. They were here about fifteen minutes ago 'on behalf of the home office' discussing some sudden problems that have come up with Mr. Stanton's visa. I've got some other angles to run down, but I'd like to know where all the pieces are before I try to go to war."

Natalya put the phone back on the hook and looked at Will, "Well, that just complicated things. There were a couple of agents here, claiming to be with MI-6 about your visa." She rambled through the 'evidence' they had presented, checking the lid on the metal box on her desk to make sure it was solidly and properly closed. "But Dr. Quinn was able to confirm that, unless they've been transferred, they're not MI-6, they're MI-13."

They're playing the good neighbor though and going out of their way to cut us slack on this, but my paranoia tells me that they're hiding something. Not to accuse you of anything, but is there anything at all that you need to tell me?"

"I want all the information and records you have. I'd also recommend you not leave the grounds until we get this sorted out. If they're part of the same group that grabbed you before, then they may seize on the opportunity. You're an adult, I can't make you stay, but as I said, I'd advise against leaving the grounds."

"Sorry, sorry, sorry..." he apologized as he put it down. "I DO have an organizing system -- if it's in this box, it's important."

Assuming Natalya had left Will's paperwork in her office while she dealt with one of the other 57 fires that seem to spawn on Xaviers at any given time, she'd notice something a bit...odd.

The paperwork was slowly erasing itself. The words on the pages were fading out, slowly but surely.

The papers and books furthest from the box in which she had placed the Secret Government Agents box were fading much slower than the ones closer to it, at almost an exponential rate.
