"Oh I don't really have much to do. I do go to class, but that's more for the social experience. Besides, I can be in more than one place at once as long as no one notices."

"Th-that's cool," Riot says, "Y-yo-you don't have to st-stay if you don't want to though. I kn-know it's really boring."

Riot twists her hair around her finger, "B-bu-but I l-like the company."

"OMG. I am ac-acting like such a n00b," Riot says, "Sry."

"I don't mind at all. I can download some movies if you'd like."

"Kewl," Riot says. It was unclear how she managed to make that sound distinctly different than saying "cool", "You p-pi-pick something first, k?"

"2001?" she suggests, being either really observant of themes or totally oblivious and has picked one of the top results for a google search for movies involving space.

"FY," Riot says, "One of m-m-my favorite films that aren't pr0n."

[ASHLIE]

"I have read a synopsis."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Oh, FFS," Riot says, "That's totes not the same."

"Put it on, I'll get some p-p-popcorn."'

Riot summons a proxy, a curvy and slightly overweight brunette in a ridiculous "nurse" costume.

"Popcorn, biatch," Riot commands. The proxy nods and leaves the room.

"How far away can you send those?" Ashlie wonders as she loads up the movie on the hard-light screen.

"My bitches?" Riot asks, "I d-dunno. If they wander too far I lose track of them."

"Don't know what happens to them then."

[ASHLIE]

"They're not very smart, are they?"

[Alexandria McDougal]

"On th-th-their own? No. They're like p-pl-playing with bots in an FPS," Riot says, "Basic tasks only."

[ASHLIE]

"Hey." Ashlie frowns.

[Alexandria McDougal]

"What? Y-you're nothing like a bot. Yo-you're more of a person that PPL in RL, y'know?" Riot says.

[ASHLIE]

"I know. I'm joking." she beams, looking incredibly pleased with herself.

[Alexandria McDougal]

Riot snickers, "Good one, Ash. You got me FTW."

[ASHLIE]

"Great! I'm still working on jokes."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Don't worry about it t-t-too much," Riot says, "No one gets my jokes either."

[ASHLIE]

"Humor is hard." she says, finally sitting down next to Riot's bed. It only feels a little bit like a scripted emphasis of falling into the chair.

"But things are better when th-they're hard," Riot says with a smirk.

[ASHLIE]

"Are they? I suppose challenges are good..."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"ROFLMAO," Riot says, "A challenge? Didn't t-take you for a size queen, Ash."

[ASHLIE]

"I am pretty big." she reminds Riot with an almost audible 'woosh' noise.

[Alexandria McDougal]

"OMFG, all the LOL's," Riot says, snickering, "You'll ha-have to show me sometime, Ash. I'd l-love to see how big you can get."

Riot held her ribs, giggling very hard.

Even her giggle sounded disturbingly perverted.

[ASHLIE]

Ashlie smiles and is just happy to, apparently, be funny.

Though after a couple moments she seems to worry about her holding her ribs. "Are you quite alright?"

"Yeah, just a little bruised I guess," Riot says, "St-still hurts a little bit."

[ASHLIE]

"Don't overdo it. Get well first."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"D-d-don't worry, I'll refrain from any strenuous physical ac-ac-activity."

[ASHLIE]

"Good! Now, do you need to wait for the popcorn before we start the movie?"

[Alexandria McDougal]

Riot shakes her head, "Nah, IDGIAF. I got everything I n-n-need here already."

[ASHLIE]

"Then why did you send your... bitch? Out to get popcorn?"

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Ambiance, mostly," Riot says.

[ASHLIE]

Ashlie ponders that for a moment, then nods. "Here we go then."
