She takes some time to find the least unacceptable piece of head-wear she can and eventually settles on a golden (well, fake gold) headpiece with thin chains falling down the back as well as a white, gold-trimmed robe. She almost feels more gaudy than ridiculous. "This is horrible. It should at least be real gold. This is bordering on insulting Her."

This is Persephone Coldmist," Raven said, introducing a plump girl, dressed all in black, with a (fake) tiger-striped tail coming out the back and cat ears on a headband on her head. "She's a sphinx as well -- or, rather, her spirit comes from that line."

"This is Yuki Shadetouch," she said, referring to a thin, red-headed girl with freckles, wearing the best dress of the bunch-- a very elegant one, looking handmade. "She's a disciple of Benzaiten."

"And this is Athena Whitehorn," she said, referring to the wearing a grey skirt, black robe, and red-and-yellow scarf. "She was burned at Salem, in a previous lifetime."

Having applied Persephone's blood to another poppet, Raven turned her attention towards her.

"Close your eyes. Let yourself drift out of your body...you're not here anymore. You're going back, back to the days of lore. Back to the days of mythology. You're going back to where you are whole..."

Persephone's breathing slowed, her shoulders slumping.

"You're back where you belong. You're proud. You're fierce. You are mistress of all you survey..."

Persephone got down on all fours, but sat up straight, noble.

...surely her tail didn't twitch. That must have been a trick of the light, yes?
