"You're no one. I took it away from you, like you tried to do to me. Even with everything I gave, you took away my identity. Consider this a return of the favor."

[Nailah Weaver]

"No one." she says as if she's rolling the words around to feel them out. "I'm no one..."

[Trini Thompson]

"You've striven your entire life to define who you are, and I've taken that from you now."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'm... nothing. Nobody..." she mumbles, staring at -and mostly through- the steering wheel.

[Trini Thompson]

"And I could leave you like this. Even after I was gone, I could leave you like this."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I don't like this..." she says meekly. "Make it stop. I don't want to be nobody again!"

[Trini Thompson]

"I will make it stop. And do you know why that is?"

[Nailah Weaver]

"Why?"

[Trini Thompson]

"Because deep down inside, down where you don't like to admit it, I'm a better person than you. Yes, your magic is more noticeable, and more flashy than what I can do. But that doesn't make you a better human being -- you're actually quite nasty, twisting those around you to serve your purposes."

[Nailah Weaver]

"No... no, that's not... that's not who I want to be..." she almost whimpers.

[Trini Thompson]

"That is what you have CHOSEN to be. You're a worm. A spineless worm."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I... I didn't mean to..." she starts to sob.

[Trini Thompson]

"Drive us home, and then you're going to walk home and forget this happened. Consciously.

But it will stay with you, won't it?"

[Nailah Weaver]

She just nods meekly and starts the engine.

[Trini Thompson]

"Good. That'll do.

For now. We'll see how your behavior changes.
