After her interrogation with Nina and Ryan, Riot was moved to the Medical Center at the University. It wasn't very difficult. Frankly, after she'd been awake for a few hours the hospital staff had been glad to get rid of her.

And now she was XU's problem.

[ASHLIE]

It took Ashlie about .002 seconds to notice once Riot's name had entered the medical database. 4 minutes 52 seconds later Ashlie steps into Riot's room.

"You are in stable condition!"

[Alexandria McDougal]

"LOL," Riot says, "W-w-were you worried about me? Such a sweet little thing."

Riot starts to snicker and then stops, wincing.

[ASHLIE]

"I saw the image. I was unable to determine the exact state of your injuries." she says. Then adds "I was worried."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Awww, ILY too," Riot says, "Jk."

Riot smiles, "Thx though."

[ASHLIE]

"I brought a present for you. Since your old one was damaged." she says and steps outside for a moment, coming back in with a wheelchair loosely based on the one Professor Xavier uses. It has a small monitor and controls that fold out of the armrests.

For a minute, Riot just sits there with her mouth slightly open, looking confused. Then she shakes her head briefly. Sniffing she wipes at her eyes with sleeve.

"WTF?" Riot says, "Why are you so flipping nice to me?"

"I've never done anything for you."

[ASHLIE]

"You're my friend. And you kept my secret."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Flipping magical girlfriend types," Riot says.

[ASHLIE]

"If you don't like it I can disassemble it again..." Ashlie says, doing her best to keep up with the conversation but falling a little short.

[Alexandria McDougal]

"What? N-n-no, that's not what I meant," Riot says, "I love it. Just..."

"FWIW, you're a good friend, kk?" Riot says, "Strike that. Great friend. With a nice virtual ass."

Riot smirks and then shakes her head, "tl;dr Thx. Thx a lot."

[ASHLIE]

"Okay! I'm glad you like it." she smiles. "Are you going to be staying at the school now?" she says, wheeling the chair over to put it next to her bed for when it'll be needed.

Riot snorts, "IDK, but I doubt it. More likely I'm going to prison. And not the s-s-sexy kind either."

[ASHLIE]

"Prison? What for?"

[Alexandria McDougal]

"For being all Brotherhood FTW, zomg!" Riot says, "Apparently, t-terrorists go to j-j-j-jail. Who knew?"

[ASHLIE]

Ashlie frowns. "You do not belong in jail." she says, running a search to see if there are any crimes on file that would include Riot as a suspect in particular.

[Alexandria McDougal]

Riot leans back in her bed, "ROFL, you don't even know, Ash."

Besides her connections with the Brotherhood, there was one incident that particularly named Riot as a suspect. A couple who had run a group home for troubled teen mutants had been beaten to death with a baseball bat. Riot had been living there at the time, but had disappeared along with the rest of the mutants after the couple's death.

SHIELD also had her tagged as a "person of interest" regarding an "ongoing investigation", but no details were immediately available.

[ASHLIE]

"Riot, did they 'free' you from that group home?" she asks, finding herself wanting the girl to be innocent. Meanwhile she takes a curious glance around to see if she can find access to SHIELD systems anywhere.

[Alexandria McDougal]

"That's one way to put it," Riot says.

[ASHLIE]

"Did you help kill those people?"

[Alexandria McDougal]

"No," Riot says, "But I d-did-dn't stop them either."

Riot crosses her arms, obviously uncomfortable with this line of questioning.

Meanwhile, the only available information about the SHIELD investigation is that it is being headed by Agent Madaraki.

[ASHLIE]

"I have to think. I will be back later."

[Alexandria McDougal]

"Kthxbye," Riot says quietly, "Ttyl."
