Up until recently maintained as a museum, the childhood home of the Braddock family has been pressed into service as additional housing and classroom space for the Institute. Additionally, the increased demands have led to the main ballroom being converted into a cafeteria for both the Institute and those University students on a meal plan. Student reactions have been mixed, and reports of paranormal activity are as of yet unsubstantiated.
Trev sauntered into the library near the end of Elena's shift and waited for his girlfriend. Dates had been postponed a bit due to not really....being in his own body lately.
Elena was sitting behind the desk with a travel mug of something. The way she was cradling it, it might have been filled with gold. She smiled when she saw Trev. "Glad to be back in you're own body?"
"Oh god yes," he grinned. "Mostly because it means I can see you again without it being sort of weird."
Trev leaned casually against the circulation desk where she sat. "Don't want to sound overly attached or anything, but a week without seeing you kinda sucked. Randomly having my body explode into something out of Lovecraft's imagination didn't help matters either."
"I don't blame you. I certainly didn't handle it well," he smirked.
"But as I recall we were going to finally see a movie together the night that I swapped places with one of our professors, and I wanted to see when you were free to cash in that raincheck."
"Just a junkie looking for his fix," he smirked. "I missed you. A lot. And if you need to wash your hair or something tonight that's fine, but I do have takeout Chinese, a bottle of wine, and cookies that I baked, and there's too much for me to eat alone."
