Rachel, wearing a slinky black dress, and in her own body, knocked on Ryan's door.

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan, looking like he just got out of the shower, opened the door, gave her a once over, blinked, and gave her another once over. "I love being us again."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I love it too." Rachel said, stepping forward and hugging him "God, I've missed this."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan grinned and spun her around, kicking the door shut as he went. "A week without doing this... just way too long," he said with a grin before he kissed her.

[Rachel O'Brien]

Rachel wrapped her arms around him, kissing him back and..."What the fuck happened to your wings!?!"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Yeah, I'm still figuring that out. You want them back?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yes, but...how?" Rachel said, confused

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Yeah, like I said... I'm still trying to figure all of it out. But... kind of like this," he said. He focused, frowning, and light seemed to burst from his back, quickly shaping into wings. When he finished, they looked... well just as Rachel remembered them, though maybe a bit... brighter?

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Wow." Rachel said "That is...wow."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I know, right? Like I said... still getting used to it" He shrugged again. "But since you like them..." he said with a grin, wrapping one of them behind her.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Love everything about you." Rachel said, snuggling against him.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Mmmm, if I didn't know better, I'd say you were buttering me up," he teased, twirling his fingers into her hair

[Rachel O'Brien]

"No, I've just missed you being you." Rachel said "A lot."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"And I've missed you being you, too," he said, not letting go of her for a moment. "Here's to quality time without it being creepy."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yeah." Rachel said "I should let you go, so you can put on a shirt and we can have dinner."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"You want me to put a shirt on? Color me disappointed," he teased, kissing her lightly again as he unwrapped his wing from her.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Its more fun to take it off later." Rachel said "Besides, I want to take my boyfriend out for dinner on his birthday."

[Ryan Gabriel]

Ryan stopped... thought about it for a minute... "Oh holy shit," he said, blinking. "You're right, it's my birthday. Now I feel like a dope..."

[Rachel O'Brien]

Rachel giggled "Damn, I spent all this time getting dressed, and making reservations, and I could have just gotten a pizza. I'll have to remember that you're forgetful...."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Yeah, spent too much time worrying about the whole 'not being me' thing," he said, grinning. "So... should I assume... I'm getting dressed up nice for this?" he said, looking her over in her dress.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"You should, yes." Rachel said

[Ryan Gabriel]

He smirked, walking over to his cupboard to get his black suit out. "I'll just be grateful that my girl knows how to keep her head better than I do in the middle of a mess like that," he teased as he started changing.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Well yeah." Rachel teased "I'm trained to handle pressure. Plus I didn't have to be Captain Chinscruff."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Heh... and here I was going to say that I thought I got the better deal as far as body-swapping went," he chuckled, buttoning up his shirt. "But I'll just be thankful that Kevin doesn't do it for you and leave it at that."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"it wasn't so bad, once I got the hang of her power." Rachel said "I'm just happy I didn't get asked to babysit. That would have been awkward."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Well, I'm just glad to be able to feel you up here again," he said, tapping his forehead with a wink as he picked out a tie.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I know." Rachel said "That was the worst part, feeling like I was...it was like losing my hearing."

[Ryan Gabriel]

He gave her a sympathetic look. "It was hard describing how it felt for me. Kevin's... got similar powers, sort of. Kind of like how a semi is like a race car."

"And of course some paranoid part of my head always irrationally freaked out from not being able to feel you with either of our powers."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yeah, its much better to be able to know you're around." Rachel said "Did something Kevin did cause" she gestured at his back "that?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"I don't think so," Ryan said, frowning. "I think it was... just because I wasn't 'at home.' It feels like... I dunno. Like this is how it always was, I just didn't know it."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Like you thought the wings were there all the time, so they were?"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Well, you don't usually think that you can make your body parts disappear and reappear, right?"

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Yeah, it makes total sense." Rachel said.

[Ryan Gabriel]

"And I tried for about an hour to see if I could make my arm do it, too, but turns out it's just my wings," he admitted with a grin as he tied his tie.

[Rachel O'Brien]

"I'm glad that you aren't made of pure energy. I like you being solid enough to hug."

[Ryan Gabriel]

He grinned, demonstrating the utility of being solid flesh and bone by hugging her after he slipped on the jacket. "All dressed up, beautiful girl with me, this should be a good night."

"A very good night."
