Room 103: I'm Bloody Rainbows

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil suddenly found himself lying back on a bed reading... something, or at least looking like he was attempting to. The text was all in Japanese so he had no idea what it said.

He started to wonder just how he got here, then he started noticing things. He first noticed small hands and fingernails painted like rainbows, he then noticed what he, or more accurately she was wearing. It didn't take him long to get up, find a mirror and figure out what had happened.

I'm that in that rainbow haired girl whats her-name's body.

"Bloody Hell!"

Cecil, calm down, you can deal with this, the staff will find a way to fix it.

That might have worked if people weren't now freaking out all over campus or he had the slightest idea how to control Ayami's powers. As it actually worked out he shortly became a gibbering wreck hiding under covers in the corner of the room.

[Nailah Weaver]

It might help that not much later a strong sense of purpose (if mixed with a bit of confusion) started to sweep past the door as Nailah walks past. She stops in the hallway as a wave of more primal urges bubbles to the surface for a moment, forcing her to focus on fighting that down.

"That's not as fun as Sam always made it seem." she mumbles to herself, scaly skin and feathers showing on her arms.

'Ayami' was still cowering in a corner when 'Chloe' got closer. This finally replaced enough of the panic for 'her' to stop cowering in the corner.

Oh right I need to do something, here I go.

With that Cecil gets up and opens the dorm room door and takes one step out. At that exact moment he was now getting a more feral feeling. When that was combined with the general panic still coming from other places, he instinctively froze in place, like a deer caught in headlights.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Oh, Ayami. I'm so sorry, you must be picking up on all this." she says, Chloe's usual British accent replaced by a faint Minnesotan one.

[Cecil Langdon]

'Ayami' blinked

She must be talking to me

It took Cecil a second to speak up.

“But I'm not her, I mean I may look like her but I'm someone else. I was me looking like me then *bam* I'm here looking like this and I have no idea whats going on and it is like I'm going crazy.”

'Ayami' was still looking very panicked.

[Nailah Weaver]

"You too then." she sighs. "I'm Professor Weaver. I'm on my way to look for the head-mistress, you should probably come along."

[Cecil Langdon]

“O..Okay."

"I'm Cecil.” He said as he followed her.

[Nailah Weaver]

"I had hoped it was only me and Miss Grant but I suppose we wouldn't be that lucky. Where were you when this happened? We should probably gather everyone together and do a head-count..."

[Cecil Langdon]

"I was at the fight that broke out around the lighthouse. We had just beaten up those super powered idiots when two people dressed up all fancy appeared up on the lighthouse and started talking shit."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Well that might explain some things, I suppose..." she frowns.

[Cecil Langdon]

“Maybe, let me think for a bit and I'll tell you what I remember.”

[Nailah Weaver]

"Take your time. This is rather confusing."

[Cecil Langdon]

“It was a man and a woman. They looked like they were dressed for some fancy party. The man did most of the talking where he up and admitted to sending the goons we had just fought. He was mostly berating us and saying how he was going to take the lighthouse.”

[Nailah Weaver]

Nailah's eyes go wide and her body starts contorting slightly as she fights the urge to shift. She's more than a little agitated.

"Did they try to go inside? What happened?"

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil becomes agitated as well

“No, The tossers didn't try while I was there. The guy did smash a forcefield the lighthouse put up, then deflect a rock thrown at him, both like they were nothing. He was mostly just acting all arrogant and insulting us. I wanted to walk up there and punch the bugger in his face but I could tell he was tougher than any of the goons we beaten up. He then said... a week, he said they'd be back in a week to take the lighthouse.”

[Nailah Weaver]

"Well we'll see about that." she mumbles, but it doesn't take an empath to notice that she isn't sure about this at all. In fact she's growing increasingly worried by the minute. An absolutely unknown future is a scary thing if you're accustomed to seeing at least parts of the path ahead.

[Cecil Langdon]

“I..I'm sure we'll stop them.”

Cecil was as much trying to reassure himself as Nailah. Of course it didn't really work.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Right. Empath. Let's get going." she says, heading off towards the admin building.

[Cecil Langdon]

Cecil follows after her.

“Oh, Is that her power. Guess that explains a few things.”

[Nailah Weaver]

"I believe so, yes. That is why I'm taking you to Professor McManus. She knows how to deal with these kind of things." Not to mention shapeshifting issues... Come on Nailah, keep it together. Let's not have a repeat of the Kraven scenario here.

[Cecil Langdon]

“Oh, okay.”
