Downtown: An Apartment Complex

Though many students might prefer going to London, Maldon provides closer amenities for those without a car or unwilling to pay for a cab. Several pubs are available, though the Rose and Crown is notable for having been where Excalibur spent a good deal of their downtime. Also of note is the Plume Library, home to many rare books.

"All right. UP this way," Cal said, climbing the stairs. "Probably gave me a fake address, but maybe whoever's in this one will give them up."

He led Christie (unless she decided to ditch him, which no one would blame her for) up to the second floor, then knocked on the specified door.

There was a conspicuous camera above the door. The door itself was locked with some sort of advanced security system, with an intercom on the side of the door.

There was a whirring sound as the camera focused on Calvin. The intercom crackled to life, a girl's voice coming over.

"Cyborgs are mega-sexy LOL," the voice said. Yes. She actually said 'LOL' out loud, "Take off your shirt and I'll let you in."

"B-breaking down the door of a young girl's room?" the voice said, "Rape fantasy much?"

There was a rather disturbingly lecherous giggle. Then the door buzzed and unlocked.

"You're assuming that I actually believe you're a young girl!" Cal called as he pushed the door open... deciding to prudently prop it open behind them.

It was absolutely freezing in the small apartment. This was probably the only thing keeping it from smelling like the ass end of a buffalo, because the place was a garbage dump. Discarded food containers, wrappers, and various other junk littered every conceivable surface. Weirdly, the floor was actually pretty clean and clear.

The reason why became apparent quickly. Sitting in the living room, in front of a monitor, was a skinny, almost malnourished looking blonde girl with sleepy looking eyes. She looked to be about 15 or 16, but it was hard to tell.

She was also in a wheelchair.

"X-Men, welcome to die!" she said, "ROFL."

Cal looked around, seeming to deflate a bit as he saw the surroundings, and the apparent nemesis. "Okay seriously, what the hell was with all that. Do you get off on watching that dipshit get his ass kicked or something?"

"Fuck 'em," the girl says, "They can all go DIAF."

The girl laughs a little too hard. It's awkward and a little disturbing, having her suddenly cackle like a mad scientist. She quickly contains it though, chucking briefly before looking around her table.

"FML. Out of soda."

He looked around to spot a fridge. "You have any more? And yeah... why're you here if that's what you thin- nevermind, because it's where you live. I know that one. Duh."

"Serving me already? LOL," the girl says, "B-before long I'll have you wearing a maid uniform and calling me McDougal-sama. Total win."

The girl gripped her hand tightly for a moment and for a second her body blurred disconcertingly. When it stopped, a girl was standing beside her desk. She had long raven black hair, pale features, and was dressed in a ridiculously frilly "maid" outfit.

"Get me a soda, bitch," the girl says, "And whatever this fucker wants."

"Of course," the maid says, "What would you like, Fucker-san?"

The girl snorts, giggling too herself.

"kthxbye," the girl says, accepting two sodas from her maid and tossing one to Cal, "Y-You should probably leave anyway. The Bitch has a strict 'no Xavier kids' rule here. She'd probably stomp your asses like Donkey Kong if she caught you here."

The girl smiles creepily at Cal, "D-d-don't worry. I'd protect you at least. You smell good."

Sensor scan, and find a backdoor into that computer of hers. Hook up to server 3, isolate it from the others, and run a data dump

"Bruiser," Christine could hear a voice saying downstairs, "Scream. Would you kindly tell me what happened outside?"

"It was all Riot!" Scream said, "She goaded some kids from Xavier's into coming here!"

Meanwhile, Calvin was managing to cut through her defenses like butter, downloading tons of info. Like ASHLIE had learned, she was good, but not superhuman.

"Some rich bitch," Riot says with a shrug, "No one cares."

"Shit," he said, looking at the door. "Well, that's my cue to get the hell out of here. Don't call me, I probably won't call you."

Install a backdoor account. We want to get back in here later, he thought as he looked back out the door.

"Of course she did," the voice said, sounding annoyed, "Are they still here?"

Scream Queen whimpered.

"I'll take care of them."

With that someone started heading up the stairs.

"GTFO tease," Riot says to Calvin, "All talk, no nudity. Lamer."
