Amanda was sitting in the faculty lounge, reading the Daily Telegraph Mail, and fighting the urge to beat her head against the wall.

"Honestly, why do you even read that. It's the literary equivalent of abattoir refuse." Nailah says, pouring herself a coffee.

[Amanda Weinrich]

"In this case?" Amanda said "Its because my brother and his new car are front page news." she held the paper up so Nailah could see.

[Nailah Weaver]

"That's just unfortunate... I'm sorry."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Honestly, its more annoying than anything else." Amanda said "Stephen thinks its hilarious, so whenever he needs extra money he gets his buddy to take his picture, and then they sell it."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I suddenly feel my sympathy over that headline draining away."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"You can feel sorry for me." Amanda said "I'm Bat Boy's older sister."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Isn't he worried about the MRA?"

[Amanda Weinrich]

"He's registered, and he's dumb enough to think that things aren't going to get any worse." Amanda said with a shrug "He's actually got a government job, believe it or not. He's a forest ranger. Remember the headline "Bat Boy saves family from forest fire"? That really happened."

[Nailah Weaver]

"The one time you'd want people to actually believe that kind of story... Though I suppose one more good deed isn't going to change anyone's mind at this point anyway."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Oh I know." Amanda said "It isn't like we don't save the world every five minutes."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Well, I hope your brother was paid well enough for furthering their stereotypes."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Oh, I'm sure he was." Amanda said "Now I have to decide if its even worth yelling at him again."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I'm going to go ahead and say yes."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Maybe." Amanda said "It'd be more to make me feel better, though."

[Nailah Weaver]

"Once you reached this point I don't think yelling is going to do any good, no. Still very cathartic though."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"And with the MRA, threatening to eat him is an especially empty threat."

[Nailah Weaver]

"I don't know. Seems like a solid threat still. Certainly seems to work for me. I barely get a missed homework in my highschool English class since people got it into their head that I'll devour them if they don't. Spending a good week lieing down on my desk to do my classes certainly helped."

[Michael Asters]

"Good morning, ladies," Cassiel said as he walked into the the staff room to get coffee. "Anything ne- oh lord, is he up to it again?" he said, shifting gears as he saw the newspaper. "I met that guy once... he was one of Feral's friends."

[Amanda Weinrich]

"I don't think he's ever going to stop." Amanda said "He's stopped hanging with Feral, at least." glancing over at Nailah she said "I keep trying to convince my students to fear me. Hasn't worked. None of them even believe that I was a awesome underground pit fighter."

[Michael Asters]

"Have you tried leaking any videos?" Cass suggested.

[Nailah Weaver]

"Or just hold an entire class as a Shoggoth. Don't even mention it, just shift at the beginning of class." she smirks.

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Sadly, I can't talk when I'm shifted." Amanda said "And the acid would burn the carpet. I don't know if there are any videos. Maybe on youtube, but it wasn't y'know, legal."

[Michael Asters]

"Doesn't matter if it's legal or not. But come on... if it happened? There's video of it. Want me to ask around?"

[Amanda Weinrich]

"Yeah, it'd be kinda cool." Amanda said.

He smirked. "From what I heard, yes, they are."
