[Byrna Cooper]

"Opposites?" She asked, looking up at him.

[John Hino]

"You're exciting, outgoing, and beautiful. And I'm... not," he answered, realizing too late he was resuming the pity party.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Wow, this pedestal sure is high.." She said, winking.

[John Hino]

"Well you are," he insisted.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Thank you, John. But you know I feel the same about you. You are strong, and handsome. Ann I'm not going to stop until you realize that as well."

[John Hino]

"Bear... you don't have to pretend I'm attractive." He regretted the statement immediately.

[Byrna Cooper]

"Do you really think I'm pretending? Really?"

She kissed him deeply.

By the time the kiss was over, he believed she was being genuine.

"Not now I don't," he admitted with a lopsided smirk.

Bear wrapped her arms around his broad, tough shoulders.

"Good. Finally, we are on the same page."

She then twirled about to the music, bringing him around carefully.

[John Hino]

"I'm sorry, I just... you know what? Nevermind."

For the first time in a while, John didn't feel like a monster.
