"That's it, when warmer weather starts again, you and I are going to go get you a bikini." Theresa crossed her arms and ducked her head to look under the edge of Kay's hood. "And I'm not taking 'no' for an answer."

"No I have one..." she says, looking up a bit to meet Theresa's gaze. "It's that I don't think I could put on a bathing suit anymore." she says, pulling up the sleeve of her hoodie to show her the fin-like growth coming from her elbow. "That... that's not the only one and they haven't gone away yet."

"Just my opinion, of course, but I stand by it." She considered Kay for a moment, "You could still wear a bathing suit I think, but you'd probably need something you could tie on instead of slip on. Of course those aren't particularly good for really swimming in."
