Feeling (finally) confident, Alex knocked on Brigid's door, ready to take charge.

"Not much, just me realizing that the crisis is over, we're not confined to campus anymore, and I still haven't taken my girlfriend into town for dinner," he said easily, leaning against the doorway. "So if you aren't busy, I thought maybe you'd like me to fix that."

The shuttle was fairly low-demand, so it wasn't hard to catch it for the short trip into Maldon. "So's everything quieting down now?" Alex asked, the fact that his girlfriend seemed to be involved (in some way) in all the drama going being something at the front of his mind lately.
