"It china, with blue flowers. There are two cups."

[Narrator]

"Take one cup in your hand. You're having tea with someone -- they're late, but they're about to arrive. Who are they?"

[Isabel Galen]

"My dolly." Isabel said

[Narrator]

"Describe it to me."

[Isabel Galen]

"Her name is Molly. She is made of china too. She has a pink dress, and beautiful golden hair."

[Narrator]

"And when did you get Molly?"

[Isabel Galen]

"For my birthday. Right before Mama died......"

[Narrator]

"What was she like?"

[Isabel Galen]

"She loved me. She was kind and good and patient."

[Narrator]

"What did you do together?"

[Isabel Galen]

"We'd sing songs and have tea and play with paper dollies and ride in the carriage."

[Narrator]

"The carriage?"

[Isabel Galen]

"It was pulled by two black horses, and we'd sit inside and she'd hold me on her lap and I'd look out the window."

[Narrator]

"What would you see?"

[Isabel Galen]

"The streets, and then the park."

[Narrator]

"What sort of streets? What sort of park? What sorts of things are around?"

[Isabel Galen]

"They have lots of trees, and street lamps. The park is in the city, but its very big, and very green."

[Narrator]

"What city are you in, child?"

[Isabel Galen]

"I don't know. its where we live."

[Narrator]

"You don't know?"

[Isabel Galen]

"No one ever said....."

[Narrator]

"What DID they say?"

[Isabel Galen]

"They said that...that this was our house. Where I lived with Mama and Papa and Nurse."

[Narrator]

"OK, relax once more. Put down the tea cup. It's ten years later now."

[Isabel Galen]

"There.....there isn't anything." Isabel said, sounding afraid "Just white light. I think...I think I'm....waiting."

[Narrator]

"Waiting for what, child?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Waiting for Papa." Isabel said "He's...he's supposed to be my grandfather, next time. That is what the lady said. But he's not here, so I have to wait."

[Narrator]

"Next time?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Next time when I'm born."
