>>"Using the infrastructure I am currently running on. I could not find any incidence in which a house in which a crime was committed led to new tenants committing the same crime so I'm trying to understand their fears. So far I can only assume they don't trust ME. A recurring theme."
>>"Yes. Apparently something happened to it's original programming."
I don't know much about what happened to it, other than that it became a threat. I do understand their fear of history repeating itself. However, I don't believe their issue is with you specifically. It's just that there are boundaries between man and machine that make the former nervous. The majority of human decisions are not made on logic alone, thus those based purely on logic often offend moral sensibilities. Even then, what really scares them in these situations is that the rules of mechanical logic can be altered and even the most benign AI can become a danger if that happens. Especially in a system of that one's scope.
Learning how to be a little more human might help assuage those fears, but I can't say how effectively.>>"I understand that fears are irrational, though I don't understand where those particular fears stem from.>>"What do you mean with learning to be more human?"
Behaviorally at least. Perhaps try socializing moAhah!>>"Please elaborate."
>>"I do not require schooling. I have access to almost any information."
It's not the classes I'm talking about. It's what happens between them.>>"I was under the assumption I should not be observing people. Or 'spying' as it has been put."
>>"Are you suggesting I should attend school as a student to engage them on the same level? I would have to lie for that to work as intended."
>>"No. I would have to fabricate a lot of details to not rouse suspicions."
That is a potential concern, yes. Though it's not like I tell everyone I meet I'm an android.>>"I see what you mean. And avoiding the prejudice people seem to have could prove beneficial.">>"I would require several sets of key data if I am to emulate a student. Appearance, birthday, school records, hometown, a mutation, personal records."
>>"Your help would be appreciated. If only to make sure it makes sense beyond being logically consistent."
