Roland was browsing the shelves with a cart, which was already about half-full.

He flipped through some books, apparently at random, putting some back on the shelves, and placing some more on the cart.

Roland backed up an old Trabant to the door of the library, and began loading it up.

"Hello, Professor," Elena said, approaching the car. Seeing the pile of books, she asked, "Do you need some help?"

Roland looked up for a minute, debating.

"...sure. Sure, I could use some help."

The books were a mishmash of history and literature -- copies of the Arabian Nights and Roman myths, books on World War II and the historical war of Troy, and everything in between.

"A diverse selection," Elena commented as she started helping him load them, taking care to set them gently into the trunk.

Elena glanced at the books as she put them in the trunk. "Quite a bit about war and myth, but then given history, it would be hard not to cover a lot of that."
