Claire squeezes Victoria's hand back for a moment and then lets go, "Thanks. For being understanding."

"Mmm, well, I don't want to be a hypocrite, dear."

[Claire McKenna]

Claire laughs, "I don't see how 'not putting up with me' would make you a hypocrite."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Well, dear, it can't possibly be more difficult than putting up with me is."

[Claire McKenna]

"Nah, you're a sweetheart," Claire says, "A big ol' softie."

[Victoria Valentine]

"I'm sorry, are you trying to bring out the bitch in me?" Victoria teased.

[Claire McKenna]

"Like a big soft teddie bear," Claire says, smirking.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Mmmm... don't prod a beehive if you don't want to be stung," Victoria said with a smirk.

[Claire McKenna]

"I think this metaphor is getting confused," Claire says.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Probably. So what are we going to do tonight?"

[Claire McKenna]

"I was hoping you'd have some ideas," Claire says, brushing a strand of hair away.

"Well, I don't feel like driving to London tonight, I know that much," Victoria put in.

"We could stay in," Claire suggests, "Find some fun back on campus."

[Victoria Valentine]

"We can have fun on campus?" Victoria asked, feigning astonishment.

[Claire McKenna]

"I believe it's allowed," Claire says, "I'll check the student handbook."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Shall we commandeer the den and post guards to keep boys out?"

[Claire McKenna]

"You have guards now?" Claire teases, "Everyday, you become more and more of a spoiled little princess."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Well, then maybe you're not the one who needs a spanking," Victoria said with a smirk.

[Claire McKenna]

"You'd enjoy it too much," Claire says.

[Victoria Valentine]

"There's no such thing in this subject."

[Claire McKenna]

Claire blushes, "I mean, it wouldn't be a very effective punishment."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Oh, we're trying to make a punishment? I thought that it was just about finding an excuse to do it."

[Claire McKenna]

Claire blushed hard, suddenly very interested in her beer. After a moment, she waves the bartender over.

"Three whiskey shots," Claire tells him, "Doubles."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria cocked an eyebrow. "Three?"

[Claire McKenna]

"I think I need to be drunker," Claire says, downing one of the shots.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria put her hand on Claire's to stop her. "I can just go if you want," she said, somewhat reluctantly.

"See, there's the thing," Claire says, "I don't want you to go."

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria smiled faintly, then downed one of the other two shots. "Well, there's the thing, I like you when you're not plastered," she teased.

"Curses," Claire says, "Foiled again."

[Victoria Valentine]

"Sooooo how about this. We go back to the school, we appropriate the den and all the ice cream in the kitchen, and we fight off anyone we don't want joining the party."

"Sounds perfect, actually," Claire says.

[Victoria Valentine]

"Oh good," Victoria said. Then she reached for the other shot glass. "So, since you aren't going to be needing this tonight..."

"No fair, stealing my drinks," Claire says, "That's just cruel and unusual punishment!"

[Victoria Valentine]

"Please, my punishments are never cruel. Unusual... well, we'll just have to see if you're a bad girl tonight," Victoria said with a smirk, pulling some money out of her purse to cover the drinks.

"Tease," Claire says, getting up and getting her coat on.
