"You're big on the disembowling today, aren't you?" he teased. "Someone getting posessive?"

[Chloe Grant]

"Oh, no." Chloe said "I was just joking around. You know me, always joking. Especially when I've been in dino-shape a lot. Makes me bloodthirsty. And jokey."

[Derek Scott]

"Hm, and here I was starting to feel appreciated. Darn," he teased, working his way higher up her leg.

[Chloe Grant]

"Don't worry about that." Chloe said "I certainly do appreciate you."

[Derek Scott]

"Well that's good to know," Derek said, making his way up to the top of her thigh. "Because if you decided you wanted to cut me loose now, it'd just be mean," he added with a grin.

[Chloe Grant]

"Not going to let you go tonight." Chloe said.

[Derek Scott]

"Well, I do have to say I like the sound of that," Derek chuckled, working his way back up to her back, then up toward her shoulders again. "Flip over."

[Chloe Grant]

"Ok." Chloe said, doing so, and holding out her arm so he could work on her hands.

[Derek Scott]

Which, of course, Derek did, working his way slowly up her arm. "How's that feeling?"

[Chloe Grant]

"Good." Chloe said "All the muscles are nice and loose"

[Derek Scott]

"Gooooood," Derek said, starting on her shoulders. "Because I want you nice and relaxed..." And with that, he leaned over and kissed her.

[Chloe Grant]

"Good." Chloe replied, pulling him down on the bed.

Quite a while later, Derek was laying, much less clothed, next to Chloe. The jet lag seemed to have caught up with him now, as he was looking obviously exhausted. Well, more exhausted than usual. "Mmm... looks like you did miss me," he teased, yawning through it.

[Chloe Grant]

"You sound surprised." Chloe said.

[Derek Scott]

"Only person that's ever missed me was my mom," he yawned, draping his arm over her. "So... I dunno. Yeah, maybe a little surprised."

[Chloe Grant]

"Don't be." Chloe said "You're my best friend. Of course I miss you."

[Derek Scott]

"Guess I just haven't had any good best friends before," he yawned, sagging against the bed.

[Chloe Grant]

"and I wouldn't be a good one if I didn't let you sleep." Chloe replied "Should I stay or go?"

[Derek Scott]

"Huh?" Derek said, snapping his eyes open. "What? No, 'm not tired," he lied through his teeth. "You don't have to go."

[Chloe Grant]

"Oh, ok." Chloe said "I'll just stay until you get sleepy, then."

[Derek Scott]

"Nope, not going to get sleepy," Derek said, trying and failing to not yawn.

[Chloe Grant]

"You are sleepy." Chloe said "I'll just pet your head while you fall asleep."

[Derek Scott]

"Well, that does sound good," Derek admitted as his eyes started involuntarily drifting closed.
