"Thank you." she smiles, concentrating a moment and rising an improvised table from the ground.

[Onyx]

"It is not a problem, ma'am," Onyx says with a smile, setting the plates down.

[John Hino]

"Coming through!" John, in khaki shorts and a Hawaiian shirt, announced as he carried over a rather large table, carefully avoiding hitting people and things.

"Where do you want this?" he called to Will.

[Brigid Plunder]

"How did I know you'd be where the pizza is?" Brigid asked with a smile as she approached Alex.

[Will Stanton]

"The ground, John. It's easiest to reach, there."

[John Hino]

"Smartass," he chuckled, "Where on the ground? Just anywhere?"

[Will Stanton]

"By the other ones would be lovely, thank you."

[John Hino]

He placed the heavy table by the others where he thought it looked alright.

"Anything else for me to carry? Please say no."

[Will Stanton]

"Take a break, lizardman."

[Alex Carpenter]

"Hey, it's British pizza. Who knows what it's going to taste like!" Alex said, grinning when he saw Brigid.

[Robin Stanton]

Meanwhile Robin was already trying to grab a piece of cut-up pizza, though her arm is getting a bit too long and wobbly to keep steady.

[John Hino]

"Thanks," he answered, moving for the food. "Ah, Pizzothra, we meet again," he commented as took a slice of pizza and took a bite as he started checking out the party.

[Brigid Plunder]

"Got to make sure, right?"

[Kevin Gravis]

"Huzzah! Thy heroes return...eth!" Kevin announced boldly, leading the return and posing as stereotypically heroic as possible. He was still in space gear of course, because it was awesome.

[Will Stanton]

"Kevin!" Will shouted over the din, starting a round of applause.

[Kevin Gravis]

"Thank you, thank you," he said as he bowed like a stage actor.

[Melody Martens]

Melody came in not too long after Kevin, far more demure, and most decidedly out of her space clothes, trading them for a pair of jeans, a summer blouse and a pair of sandals. She waved to the assembled crowd meekly and smiled a bit.

[Kevin Gravis]

"C'mon Melody, we just came back from the dead! Own it!"

[Sean Hall]

Sean joined in on the applause as he watched the space goers arrive, but it slowed down somewhat when he didn't see Altamira.

Maybe she's just coming after everybody else?

[David Renko]

Stephanie came in carrying what appeared to be a full keg of root beer with one arm. She crossed the party casually, making sure not to hit anyone or any of the decorations, and set the keg down near the table full of buckets of ice, plastic cups.

Renko sidled up next to Stephanie as the heroes returned.

"I felt pretty manly setting up those tables until you had to ruin it all by carrying that keg," Renko smiled.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin spotted Sean, and his veneer of frivolity wilted. How do you tell someone their girlfriend chose to abandon the Earth?

[Rachel O'Brien]

"Exactly," Ryan said. "For example, maybe I could show you around after we get your stuff carried up?"

"That would be awesome." Rachel said "Are you hungry? I kinda want to stuff my face first. But it seems kind of awkward, since all these people just got back, and I don't know any of them"

[Ryan Gabriel]

"Oh, I can always eat. I wouldn't worry too much, though... I'm betting you aren't the only one. So we can play it however you want to."

[Rachel O'Brien]

"In that case, I'm going to scarf and run."

[Ryan Gabriel]

"That works," Ryan said. "Where are your boxes waiting for you? We can get that knocked out pretty quickly, at least."

[Sean Hall]

Kevin spotted Sean, and his veneer of frivolity wilted. How do you tell someone their girlfriend chose to abandon the Earth?

Sean stopped clapping completely when he saw the expression on Kevin's face. A series of dark emotions ran across his face before settling on anger. As Sean turned to leave a cold wind flowed through the group carrying the smell of ozone with it.

[Kevin Gravis]

Kevin sighed and approached the angry wizard.

This is going to be ugly.

[Victoria Valentine]

Victoria frowned, then glanced up at the sky once, shaking her head.

Ominous start to the year.

[Trini Thompson]

Raven, meanwhile, missed the omens entirely.

[Thomas Bowen]

Tommy was poking around the perimeter of the party, his wizard hat cocked a little bit, as usual.

[Trini Thompson]

Raven saw the hat.

"Oooo! Where on EARTH did you get that!"

[Thomas Bowen]

"Hmm? Oh.. I made it. my hat, that is."

Tommy smiled a little sheepishly.

[Trini Thompson]

"It's fantastic. Every warlock needs a proper hat."

[Thomas Bowen]

"Well, yeah. You can't do magic without a hat. That's just silly." he replied, smiling.

[Alex Carpenter]

Alex took a bite of his pizza and decided that no, it didn't taste British. Whatever British tasted like, that is. "So yeah," he said, glancing around at all the people who were, well, new to them. And older than them. "This is..." Intimidating? "...different."

[Trini Thompson]

"Well, yeah. You can't do magic without a hat. That's just silly." he replied, smiling.

"Oh, I wouldn't go THAT far. There's some spells and things, y'know? Where, like, the hat gets in the way!"

[Thomas Bowen]

"Really? I've never had a problem. But I'm a hands-on type of magician, though."

[Stephanie Kaltiera]

Stephanie came in carrying what appeared to be a full keg of root beer with one arm. She crossed the party casually, making sure not to hit anyone or any of the decorations, and set the keg down near the table full of buckets of ice, plastic cups.

Renko sidled up next to Stephanie as the heroes returned.

"I felt pretty manly setting up those tables until you had to ruin it all by carrying that keg," Renko smiled.

Stephanie gave Renko a quick peck on the cheek. "You're plenty manly, darling. I'm just stronger than most folks in the room...some combined," she smirked

[Trini Thompson]

"Really? I've never had a problem. But I'm a hands-on type of magician, though."

"You must follow a different school."

[Thomas Bowen]

"Pretty much. I'm straight-up alchemy. What can you do?" he asked, curious.
