I9DT: Stanton Residence

[Isabel Galen]

Isabel, looking more than a little nervous, stood by the door.

[Sara Stanton]

Sara is just coming home herself, laptop and various papers and print-outs under her arm.

"Hey." she smiles. "You here for us?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Uh, yeah!" Isabel said, jumping a little "Hi, Sara. Yeah, I've got something to return to Will, if he's around."

[Sara Stanton]

"I just came back from the lab, so... Let's find out." she says, renewing her grip on her stuff before fishing through her purse for the keys and stepping inside.

[Isabel Galen]

"Ok, sure." Isabel said, following her in.

[Sara Stanton]

"That the experiment he was doing with the piece of clay?" she asks curiously as she walks over into the living room to look for Will.

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah." Isabel said "I've had it for awhile, and I was thinking its time to give it back."

[Sara Stanton]

She nods.

"How have you been then? Been a while since we've talked."

[Isabel Galen]

"I've been ok." Isabel said "Busy, but ok."

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah, that sounds familiar."


"Hmm, looks like Will went for a walk with Robin. Can I offer you some tea?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Um, sure!" Isabel said "I could do that."

[Sara Stanton]

"I'm sure he'll be back soon." she says, heating up some water.

"Guess you had lots to do, what with the attack and everything?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, it was really intense." Isabel said "Lots of people who needed help."

[Sara Stanton]

"Is everyone alright?"

[Isabel Galen]

"Everyone who made it back." Isabel said.

[Sara Stanton]

"What do you mean?"

[Isabel Galen]

"One of the ships exploded." Isabel said. "They said that nothing was left."

[Sara Stanton]

"Oh my god! Who... who was on it?"

[Isabel Galen]

"I don't know for sure." Isabel replied "They aren't saying anything until the families have been told. But...one of the doctors was saying that Rachel O'Brien was one of the people on the ship."

[Sara Stanton]

"Oh no... No, that... That's horrible..."

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, it is." Isabel said "She was so smart, and nice and she just had everything going for her....life sucks."

[Sara Stanton]

"Yeah... yeah it really does sometimes." she says, putting down the shaking kettle before she spills boiling water.

[Isabel Galen]

"I didn't know her, really." Isabel said "She'd just started working in the infirmary, but she seemed awesome."

[Sara Stanton]

"She is. Was..." she corrects herself, swallowing hard. "She lived upstairs with Ryan and Bear..."

[Isabel Galen]

"I got called in to help Ryan, after...his accident. I didn't know they were together. He and Bear must be crushed."

[Sara Stanton]

"I can't even imagine..."

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah." Isabel said softly "Anyway, I should give you the clay."

[Sara Stanton]

"Oh yeah. Right. Just... put it up on a table. Will's paranoid about Robin interacting with, well, 'him'."

[Isabel Galen]

"Ok." Isabel said, setting it down "Thanks for the tea."

[Sara Stanton]

"Thanks for your help. I'll make sure to give you credit if this actually happens."

[Isabel Galen]

"Don't worry about it." Isabel said "It wasn't a big deal."

[Sara Stanton]

"Still." she forces a smile, trying to distract herself from the news about the space mission.

[Isabel Galen]

"No, really, I was glad to help." Isabel said "I owe Will one."

[Sara Stanton]

"Not if you ask him. But, well, that's Will." she chuckles slightly.

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, always putting other people first." Isabel said "you're a lucky woman."

[Sara Stanton]

"I really am." she says, her smile growing a little wider.

[Isabel Galen]

"Yeah, anyway, I need to get going." Isabel said "Give me a call if anything cool happens with the clay, ok?"

[Sara Stanton]

"Sure. Take care Izzy!"
