Tommy More was walking across the quad, stretching his shoulder as he went.

"Ah, you look much more clear-minded today, my friend!" Zeryn commented as he fell into stride a few steps away from Tommy.

[Tommy More]

"Ah, my gilled Lord! Yes, yes, I am in much better spirits despite not being in spirits."

[Zeryn]

"An excellent sign for the day!" Zeryn proclaimed. "I assume that prospects have been treating you well, then!"

[Tommy More]

"Prospects have DEFINITELY moving in a positive direction!"

[Gaius Montgomery]

Guy jogged up just in time to catch that.

"And let's hope it stays that way so the rest of us can bloody sleep," he smirked.

[Tommy More]

"Oh, poppycock."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"One word. Gamera."

[Tommy More]

"Only word you understood, you mean."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"Oh please. I got what you were trying to do John Cusack," he teased with a friendly smirk.

[Zeryn]

"Did something happen? I'm afraid I don't know what you're referring to..."

[Tommy More]

"Oh, you did not hear?"

[Gaius Montgomery]

"You actually slept through that? Colour me impressed."

[Zeryn]

"Well, if it happened the night I last saw you, we... ah.. were drinking rather liberally, which may explain it."

[Tommy More]

"Indeed."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"I suppose alcohol does explain everything."

[Zeryn]

"So if, perhaps, you two would be as kind as to enlighten me..."

[Gaius Montgomery]

"He hooked up a rather nice sound system on the quad, cranked up the volume, and attempted to woo his girlfriend with the theme of a Japanese movie monster that resembles a giant turtle. She happens to live directly above our rooms."

[Zeryn]

"Ah!" Zeryn said, brightly, as the truth was revealed to him. "So like that evidently classic film! But better, because it was more expensive!"

[Tommy More]

"Of course it was better!"

[Gaius Montgomery]

"Did it work?"

[Tommy More]

"Oh, ye of little faith."

[Zeryn]

"Ah, excellent," Zeryn said. "We would never survive the shame if all of those of our elite station were lacking female company at the moment."

[Tommy More]

"You find yourself alone?"

[Zeryn]

"For a time," Zeryn admitted. "My lady shall be away for some time taking care of her current training. Which is regretable for me, but I can hardly begrudge it."

[Gaius Montgomery]

Guy simply remained quiet.

"Tis a shame, for sure, tis a shame. Ah well--'tis better to have a damsel far away, yes?"

[Zeryn]

"Aye, indeed. And she will return in time, naturally. Still, best for one of us to be in a present lady's good graces."

[Tommy More]

"Only one?" Tommy said, looking at Guy.

"One what?" he asked, playing dumb.
