I8DT - Dinner... Big Dinner

[Wanda Johansen]

Wanda had picked a nice Indian restaurant not too far from the Institute and easily within walking distance. It also had the bonus of being more traditional with cushions on the floor and low tables instead of the usual tables, chairs, and booths. They seemed a little shocked by her size, but seated both she and Tala with a minimum of fuss.

[Tala Davis]

"Good choice, smells really good in here." She settled in across the table.

"Is it ok if I let you order, I'll just eat off of your plates. I'm sure there'll be enough."

[Wanda Johansen]

"That's sort of how it works here," Wanda said, smiling. She placed an order for a variety of dishes settled comfortably on the cushion.

[Tala Davis]

"So, feeling like you fit in a little now?" She sipped her glass of water.

[Wanda Johansen]

"I'm just about there, I think," Wanda said. "Especially now that I know my way around and what doorways to watch out for."

[Tala Davis]

"I have notice no more fore head bruises or make-up to cover said bruises." She chuckled.

[Wanda Johansen]

Wanda stuck her tongue out a Tala. "It just stings. Doesn't really hurt. Mostly just irritating because it makes you stop."

[Tala Davis]

"I do imagine you do more damage to the door frames then they do to you, although I'm usually too low to the ground to notice the tops of the doorways I walk through."

[Wanda Johansen]

"Yes, yes, Miss Small Package," Wanda said, sticking her tongue out again as the food arrived.

[Tala Davis]

"Tiny and bitety. That's me." She grinned.

[Wanda Johansen]

"We've been over my thoughts on that," Wanda said, digging into some of the food.

[Tala Davis]

"That I am adorable and I fit in your pocket." She let Wanda fill her plate then served herself.

[Wanda Johansen]

"My pockets aren't that big. The giant duffle bag of a purse my mother made me bring on the other hand..."

[Tala Davis]

"Nah, I'd prefer not being a purse puppy. Besides, these legs were made for walkin'."

[Wanda Johansen]

"No argument there," Wanda said with a smirk.

[Tala Davis]

"Or dancing. Oh, we should go dancing!" She smiled as she enjoyed dinner.

[Wanda Johansen]

"You and me?" Wanda sounded uncertain.

[Tala Davis]

"Is there anyone else here?" She smiled and chuckled.

[Wanda Johansen]

"That didn't come out right. I mean the two of us going dancing or the two of us going dancing?" Words were failing poor Wanda.

[Tala Davis]

"Are you trying to ask me out on a date?" Tala smiled.

[Wanda Johansen]

Wanda blushed for a moment and then stammered, "Well... yeah... I mean... if you want..."

[Tala Davis]

"Well, I've never been asked out by a girl before." She tilted her head and smiled.

"It's only fair that you know I've been out with Nick twice. I'll tell have to let him know about you if we manage more then one date." She chuckled.

[Wanda Johansen]

"Oh..." Wanda looked embarrassed. "I didn't know you were seeing someone. I'll just... yeah..." She looked around as if contemplating escape.

[Tala Davis]

"Just two dates, so far so good. Too soon to be exclusive, though as a male he might already be possessive. Then again you're female..it's complicated. Do you want to go dancing with me?"

[Wanda Johansen]

"Yes, I do... I just don't want to get in your way if you're heading another direction."

[Tala Davis]

"Don't know yet. That's why I'm willing to give you a shot."

[Wanda Johansen]

"Okay then. Dancing it is."
