"More alternatives to pixies because the things are bloody impossible to get rid of," Sean said, "And rather annoying."

"Feed them and they stay, aye? Good to know."

"Now goblins on the other hand..." Sean had not met pixies or goblins and was obviously throwing this together on the fly.

She smirked.

"Cute, there."

"And if I say I actually have met a supernatural being or two?"

[Sean Hall]

"Then I'd say you have far more experience than I do," Seam said another statement that had an undercurrent of uncertainty.

[Samantha McManus]

"Had a bean nighe sent after me last semester, which I suppose was telling."

[Sean Hall]

"Somebody sent a fairy after you?" Sean asked cocking an eyebrow.

[Samantha McManus]

"That's not one of the nice looking ones. Familiar with the myth?"

[Sean Hall]

"I just know it's an omen of death what most people call a banshee," Sean said.

[Samantha McManus]

"Not quite. Both omens of death, but bean sidhe aren't bean nighe."

"It all goes back to the tale of the washerwoman at the fords..."

[Sean Hall]

"This is what I get for never having an actual teacher," Sean said then gestured for McManus to continue.

[Samantha McManus]

"And the washerwoman at the fords is an emissary of the Morrigan, often the goddess herself. Washing the armor or burial shrouds of those who are fated to die in the battle to come."

[Sean Hall]

"The Morrigan... but that's your codename isn't it?" Sean asked.

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye, and this would be how I was introduced to the nudist sorcerer. Called himself Wildpride, and he sent her to accuse me of having stolen the feather cloak of the Morrigan."

[Sean Hall]

"Which I take it you didn't...right?" Sean asked. "Because the Morrigan is rather more serious business than a fairy."

[Samantha McManus]

"At the time, it was chalked up to a misunderstanding."

[Sean Hall]

"That's quite a misunderstanding," Sean said before a light bulb seemed to turn on above his head, "Oh, okay now the goddess rumor is starting to make some sense."

[Samantha McManus]

"Aye. Didn't steal a thing."

[Sean Hall]

"That statement is a bit open to interpretation, Headmistress," Sean smiled.

[Samantha McManus]

"Suppose it is," she said with a faint smile.

[Sean Hall]

"That statement on the other hand is slightly frightening," Sean said.

[Samantha McManus]

"Is it? It's only three words. I'll see you around, Mister Hall."

With that, her form writhed for an instant before breaking apart, returning to a flock of ravens that flew away.

"Uh, right of course Headmistress."

Sean watched the ravens fly off for a moment before moving to get his backpack.

"How many goddesses can one man meet before it's too many," Sean said as he put the backpack on.
