"My spies are EVERYWHERE!" She did her best evil laugh.

"If you want an island they had better be awesome cookies."

"This is why I keep you around, Tala--you're appeased with baked goods just like me," Trev smiled.

"Anyone with such an appreciation for baked goods has by definition a winning personality. And the hotness goes without saying," he grinned.

"I have to agree with Trev on this one," Wanda said, finishing up the peppers and starting the process of washing her hands several dozen times.

I8 - Trev, Two Girls, and a Kitchen

Trev smirked, "The winning personality part, or the hotness part? Or both?"

Let's not add that to the list of fantasies please.

Trev pondered for a moment something he'd once read about the mind not listening to the word not.

Whoops.

Trev had opened a bottle of beer and was taking a drink just as Wanda spoke. It took a lot of restraint to not do a spit take. He definitely choked. He set down the beer and coughed, trying to play it off as chuckling.

"Aww, I think we've killed him."

She moved to the sink beside Wanda and got a glass of water to Trev.

"I'm fine," he coughed, his face bright red, "Just...well. Didn't see that coming out of your mouth, Wanda," he chuckled nervously.

Oh god. What do you say to that? Don't want to offend, or make her think that I...sonofa why do I always over analyze this shit!?

Trev chuckled, then took a drink of the offered water, and then another of his beer--with far less choking.

"Both I guess?" he shrugged cheerfully, "But then again, I just met you, so what do I know?"

Nice recovery...I think.

"A girl's got to keep the surprises coming," Wanda said, smiling at Trev. Then she looked at Tala, "Good things, small packages."

"Surprises are pretty fun," he smiled, picking up a knife and starting to cut up the steak that had been taken off before he grabbed his beer.

So long as the surprises don't involve waking up naked in the common room.
